  1. Ok so the interview process is rather painless so long as you have all the required documents. We had forgotten to get a police certificate from London (have to have a police certificate for any place you've lived for over 6 months) so it was denied but they confirmed it would be approved the moment we got the certificate to them. (we just got the certificate to them tuesday and they approved the visa and have shipped all the documents as well as the visa (which is in the passport) to us in Oslo! As for how the passport works, they will keep it there on the day of the interview so long as you have a way to get home without it, think you can use just a copy of your passport and if you can't leave your passport you can mail it to them when you get home and they will put the visa in it and mail it back to you.

    hope that helps

  2. My fiancee is going for her interview monday (fingers crossed). Up to this point everything has gone smoothly. Just curious if anyone else has gone thru the process since the interview was moved to Sweden. We were curious how they mail the visa to her, I assumed that they would keep the passport and then mail back the passport with the visa in it but since it is in sweden how would she get back to norway? Any info would be greatly appreciated and if no one here know ill be sure to post an update once we go thru the process.

  3. My fiancee is going to her interview tuesday in Stockholm. She is from Oslo. Basically once your i-129f is approved they mail you a list of all the documents you need to bring to the interview. All the doctors appointments are in Norway, they give you a list of approved doctors to go to. Basically everything is done in your home country (Norway for us) and then you bring all the documents to your interview in Stockholm. The doctors appointments are a bit expensive and getting all the forms costs a bit but its not to bad. There is also a fee for filing the paperwork and you have to bring swedish stamps to your interview so they can mail you back your visa... though i dont know exactly how they mail it back.

    hope that helps.
