but I don't know how you get one. I didn't research that. It just gets tricky with that 10 year law for illegal entry... Have you looked into the new legislation for illegals who came as kids?

No he didn't, we had met while he was in mexico, then he came to the US legally after we got the visa. He had told them that he tried to enter once, got caught, and never tried again. And they had thanked us for being honest. So I don't know if they already had him on file or not, but because he told them the truth he didn't get denied flat out.
