Hey, DOS was no help. All the departments kept telling us that it is still under process at the consulate. But our passport was ready for pick up, yet they did not inform us.

Yeah, She finally got her passport. But we didn't receive any updates from that phone number or the website. We had to do our own digging since we had bought the plane tickets and it was getting close to the departure date. She will be arriving later this week.

An update. My wife was able to track her passport by calling a phone number.

but that is not working right now.

Nothing yet. But I'm also bit uncomfortable since we had to do a last minute registration on that "USTravel" website which was unclear. They DID say it could take 7-10 business days.

But I'm sure we will get the CR-1 Visa since we've been married for less than 2 years. If it was more than 2 years, it would've been IR-1 visa.

Not your fault but yeah I wish I had some information before they went to VFS because they had to travel 8 hours each way for it. VFS needs to keep their website updated.
