  1. I keep wondering how I should present my petition. I want to keep it organized and thorough. But I keep reading the tips and suggestions here and elsewhere on the internet, and I'm starting to think these petitions are reviewed bt kindergardeners. Are these people REALLY so helpless that you need to color code things and write directions for them to find everything ? Or are they just a**holes that need their job to be made easier and ours harder ?? These process' are ridiculous. It's a good thing there are good people on this site that are willing to help others out.

  2. You can make a formal letter on a separate paper and indicate it to your cover letter. During the interview she can ask an interpreter too. Usually, the people that works in the embassy that is a native from your fiancee's country will assist her and stand as an interpreter. Which country is your fiancee?

    She is from the Philippines

  3. Hope everyone is doing well and had a happy holiday season. I've looked at the threads of the step by step filing, and still don't have a clue what it all means. Especially "Touched". Did most of you all do everything yourselves, or get the help of a lawyer ? Because I think I would want a lawyer who understands everything that I don't. :)

I just returned from the Philippines and meeting my fiancee in person. I'm from the U.S.A. Now I need to know the pros and cons of first getting married in the Phils. beforehand. And having her come here first before getting married. I'm not retired or have the convienence of taking alot of time from work. I already took half my vacation for my recent trip. But I want to be with her as soon as possible.

If there's a place on the website that tells what I need to do and why, please dirsct me to them. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Wayne
