Sorry, to have read about your situation Robert. I suggest you inform INS immediately in writing about what's happening before she makes any move to discredit you . Before you confront her ,You can print all of these e-mails as proofs to back you up just incase you would need these in the future.
Good luck..

bank transfer would be safe and to avoid any questions at POE. there are some regulations of some countries about big money taken out /in to and from the country. It can also be associated with money laundering etc. so i suggest he makes a fund trasfer to your account. You will have to pay for the charges which is considerably expensive as well.
good luck
the charges that i meant was BANK charges when you transfer some funds...

I guess you haven't talked about it before you got married. These are things that we often take for granted to discuss. Both of you should sit down and lay your cards on the table. You can't do it on your own. If he said he was not brought up to do household chores, tell him it's different now, he is married already and there are responsibilities that goes with it.If you're doing your part which you yourself was not used to because you had maids in your home in Peru but sice you're married you try to adjust to the new role as a married woman, and that he should do the same.
You just need to tell him straight, if he doesn't want to help them he should pay for a cleaner to visit at least once a week .
Good luck

You have to with your wife. Now ask her if she still wants you to go there. What's the point of going to the USA if she doesn't love you anymore. The reason why she petitioned you , is because you want to be together and you love each other. But if love is not there anymore, it would be best for you to stay in your country, move on, do the necessary documents you have to file and pray for a better partner.
If love is pure, love will endure. It takes 2 to tanggo and to make a marriage work. If it's just one, it will not work out. But I hope things will change once you talk to your wife heart to heart.Good luck... prayers for you..

Hello everyone,
Yes it's starting March 15, 2006 ( sorry about the year previously mentioned)Cenomar was added as a requirement for submission to the embassy together with all the other documents. Before it's the embassy who will be requesting NSO but last month they changed it again. My friend got approved she is waiting for her visa to be delivered.
Have a great day.:-)

A friend of mine told me about the latest additional requirement for a CENOMAR to be submitted, starting March 15, 2005. I think the previous
post got the website. According to my friend it will take NSO 2 weeks to process the request. She said she requested online, paid over-the counter in the bank. Today is her interview I told her print her request and the duplicate copy of her payment just incase the CO will ask for her CENOMAR considering that it took effect only this month.
Good luck

Well I'm sure you can provide them with the basic things there , so I suggest they just limit themselves with 2 balikbayan boxes and 2 suitcases each. It's not a good idea to bring big things over there.
I for one is leaving this May and I have to bring with me choice clothes and jackets and just small personal things.Paying for the excess luggage is not good as well.

If the situation calls for you to declare you over stayed then be Honest about it. Because lying will result to another problem in the future. I believe when your intentions are pure good things will come your way.
Keep the faith alive...
Good luck..

You'll be alright even without a lawyer. Most people here did it themselves,we did too. When you finished the process you'll feel a sense of accomplishment. Vj members and moderators are very helpfull. You're in good company...
Research and ask questions are the key in these journey.
Good luck...

In my personal opinion , if one got enormous wealth like Oprah, Donald Trump, movie stars and very successful businessmen in the world, pre-nuptial contract is important. Because most of these wealthy people got complicated lives compared to ordinary people like us.
Most ordinary people ( not all of course) consider marriage a lifetime commitment, unless some unusual situations occur in a marriage that ends in divorce.
But if you think it's essential to your partnership , it's really up to the couple.
Good luck

Suggestion>
If you want to get a cheaper price, don't book online, go to a travel agent because airlines usually give bigger discounts to agents.
My husband usually booked his tickets online but with all my travels I booked with an agency. My husband tried it and was able to save 150-200 dollars for his flights.
But travel agencies also got different rates.. I usually compare 3 to 4 agencies whoever charges the lowest get's my booking.
Ive'd saved a lot and I just want to share these to you guys.It might help you in anyway.

Ive'd read in a book about custody of the minor child. Although the mother is the primary custodian, she must get the written permission from the father so that it can pass through immigration with no problems.
GOOD LUCK..

Delbros charges depends on ; if it's within metro manila/provincial address. I live in laguna this is south of metro manila and I paid 220 pesos. I think within metro manila it will be lower. My sister paid 120.00 and her address was in Makati.

When I renewed by passport I used my married name. The paperworks when we submitted them were all in my married name, to avoid confusion. It was the best thing to do in my opinion to have it change.
Good luck..

POE and your x-ray picture
in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America

Hello,
I got here last May 20 through LAX. I packed my X-ray with my check in luggage. I was ushered to a room and it was only me who was there. I was not asked any question and 5 minutes I was out of there. The woman there obviously was not in the mood to talk so she didn't asked me anything. My flight arrived around 930 am, i think were the first plane in so basically it was not busy yet. They will not check the x-ray thing because the result is already in the envelop.
Good luck to everyone..
