Glad to hear that everything when well, ill be making that trip in a few days and now i know what to expect

I have always wonder about the re-entry permit being valid after entering the united states again, maybe some one could clear our minds, being that the re-entry permit is valid for up to two years.

But i do have to say that i think you and your wife are gonna have to make a decision on whether living in canada or in the united states. My personal opinion could be that you two live in US until she becomes a USC, but thats just me.

At the same time I feel a little nervous, this is like a new chapter in my life, is like HUGE you know, everything is going to change, i need to improve my english cuz is not that good, i want to work in my career field (IT), gain experience, etc so i have a lot to do so im going to start as soon as i can

No I don't have tattoos or any criminal or crime records, nothing.I guess is because is a stepson petition, or something like that, who knows

Sorry to heard that ullnvrkno, I hope everything goes quick and easy on your case, I had my interview also in El Salvador on Tuesday, we had almost the same timeline, I was not approved neither because I was told that my case is going to be under administrative process.

So I guess we have to wait a little more, best of the luck.

Our visas were approved and issued so we are finalizing our plans to get the kids here. Final hurdle!

was talking to a friend who filed for her husband and she was talking about the A Number that was on her husband's NOA2. I had no idea there were A Numbers on the NOA2, as my boys did not get A numbers. Did any of y'all's kids get A Numbers?!?!?

Yeah it feels like a long wait!

I saw it on my NOA2 but it was not my A number, it was my stepfather A number.

But i dont know if they randomly write the beneficiary A # on some NOA2's

I dont know if something has change which i seriously doubt(almost positive), but child is considerate a child if is under the age of 21 and is not married.

Adding to my answer,

if your uncle is not the biological father of the child(could be his stepfather),then he can only petition for the child is the child was under the age of 18 when your uncle married with the bilogical mother of the child.

Is there any problem if I get the interview on January and fly to USA after my 21 birthday?(may 24)

Case was closed on september 27.

And 2013 is my last year of college that i need to finish here in El Salvador so i kinda helps me because on june i have vacations so i can travel to the us and get my Green card and come back for the last semester of the year and then return to the US. Otherwise if the interview would have been in December or november i would have to travel on x-mas 2012 and get a re-entry permit and then return to El Salvador and finish last year. LOL

I just called NVC, all interviews for December are schedule now. So im gonna have to wait and call until December for a January interview. :/

Im still waiting for interview day! having trouble with communicating with NVC, i had a magicjack but now i cannot make usa office or platforms calls cuz they charge for it now. Going to call in a couple of days and see if am going to have have the interview on december.

Called NVC today to see if interview date is schedule, not yet, and the lady told me they have finished the appointment scheduling for November, so interview is not going to be on November, I guess ill have to keep waiting xD

Time is always valuable if you use it good though! so im gonna keep using it

Should I call NVC 2 weeks after case approved(last friday) to see if they got Interview day? or should I wait more.....or less lol

the AOS is the I-864 form. have you send the I-864 form yet? for the visa application one DS-230 needs to be fill for each of them, with the required civil documents of each of your stepchildten
