hey xanax....i know this is a super old post but just wondering if you even did end up traveling.. and what was the experience like?
Hello,
I never traveled as I was pregnant and high risk.

Updating XANAX and adding JAYJAYX biometrics
Congrats XANAX
Thanks

YAY! On May 14, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC**********, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
-
Congrats to all that have been approved!
-
I'm... not sure they even do that. Do they? Just "randomly come by for a visit"? LOL, I'd likely be at work, otherwise out or... in the shower What if I'm in the shower???!!!
In some circumstances, they do.

OP, I think you will be fine, I didn't have a lot of evidence and it all went fine. Keep accumilating "evidence" and bring it to your interview if it makes you feel better. Also, I only included like 5 pictures.
-
They did not ask any questions pertaining to our parents at our interview. I still have never met my Step-MIL and probably never will, the rest of DH's family is all but cut off, also.

We applied to remove conditions at the end of December and have not heard anything since the biometrics appointment in February. Has anyone else heard an update on their case....how long does the removal of conditions typically take?
See above. Approvals are starting to come in now.
-
I'm coming over from the January filers to say Howdy to y'all. I was worried that my biometrics apt was 6 weeks ago and there's been nothing since, but looking at them, and you, it seems that this is taking it's time. I look forward to seeing all your statuses being updated to "Approved".
Yep, it's taking a while. We're about to buy a new house and take a trip back to Australia, but I want to wait until this is all done before I make any solid plans
-
It's normal. Now you wait.
-
If you check your case status on USCIS using the case number from your Biometrics appointment letter it will indicate the receipt date of your NOA. That way you can update the list here for reference.
Mine says "On December 17" blah blah blah
December 11!
-
Mine is about 15 minutes away.
-
I definitely agree that you have to be sure you want to come here. I did not know how much I would miss home or how many things I didn't/wouldn't like about the US. But... I moved for my husband(then df). We will move back to Australia eventually
-
If you don't receive NOA1 make sure you don't travel outside with an expired greencard, you won't be able to come back.
(You can make a infopass appt and go to USCIS to get I-551 extension stamp in your passport if you need to travel outside US)
Hopefully NOA1 is just lost somewhere and will make it's way to you soon.
Thank you. We won't be traveling and it's not a big a deal for us right now. If it doesn't come we won't be stressing
-
So you never received the extension letter?
That's all I've received, the biometrics appointment.
-
So if you received you biometric letter, it should say on it on what date your biometric appt is.
Are you sure it is not NOA1 you received ? ( this one should not have a biometric schedule date on, mine says I-797 Notice of Action on the top right corner)
This is the paper we need to re-enter US after the greecard expires
I have my biometrics appointment on there. It is form I-797C. My appointment is 9am 01/15.
-
I only received one letter, the biometrics. I guess the other is on its way?
-
As I said- dated 12/26. It's one letter Form I-797C NOA and biometrics appointment.So... You got both NOA and Bio letter today?
What are the Receipt Date on your NOA letter and appointment date?

Is she still in the US or has she gone back to her home country?
If she has gone back to her home country I believe you will have to start the process again and may be under increased scrutiny.
If she is in the US, you can try contacting USCIS and see what the best course of action would be.

Hello,
We got our 1st RFE regarding my fiance's criminal record on 10/16. We responded to it on 10/31. Then, unfortunately after waiting for almost 2 months, we got our 2nd RFE on 12/16. We are not sure what they will be asking yet as the letter is still on the way to his home. I hope after this, we will hear good news but can it be another RFE again? Is 2nd RFE our last chance?
I hope I hope they are not asking much and the 2nd time will be faster...
They can give more than 1 RFE. It isn't the last chance per se. Wait to see what it is and then go from there.

Hi VJ,
My fiancé and I got our marriage license today!
I was going through all the AOS forms and was wondering if it was possible to have the medical examination done before the actual wedding?
Many thanks in advance
I did.

You can look for paid employment once you have your EAD.

This. If you have AP and no overstay, I would travel.
