  1. In January 2007, Rachel P. Salazar and Ruben P. Salazar were living 9,000 miles apart and completely unaware of each other's existence. But when an email meant for Rachel accidentally went to Ruben, it wasn't long before an ordinary mistake began to look like an extraordinary stroke of luck. (they call it luck, I call it fate)

Hope you find this encouraging and it helps make those of you apart, stronger!

  2. People Vermont is on fireeee!!!! we got our NOA2 today morning. Check your case status on USCIS webpage. I read that so many people found out that they had been approved when they checked their cases, not for an email, mail or text messages. It's been only 120 days, hope u guys who are waiting, get your approvals really soon :)

Congrats!!! So now, it's interview time? Or do you wait for a date from Caracas?

  3. Hi,

As skiptex said go to US embassy Caracas-Venezuela

There you will find everything your fiancee needs to bring to the interview. I prepared all my paperwork following just what is listed there. My interview was 4 years ago btw. Only doc needs to be certified is the copy of Birth certificate by the Ministry of Foreign Relations. Any document in a language different than English and Spanish needs to be translated to English.

I got my Birth certificate and divorce decree for previous marriage certified and translated because I needed them once I got here to get married and for the Adjustment of Status process.

Keep in mind that my K1 interview was years ago, and it's possible that somethings have changed. But overall, all the info is in that site.

    Good luck!

Thanks for all the info! Really appreciate it

  4. go to the CARACAS US embassy website.. they have information there..

i sent K1 off last tuesday.. so i can update you as i get information..

Thanks so much, we look forward to staying in touch. And we will do the same.

Estimated times are tough to gauge. From what I see it looks like the entire process is taking close to 6 months...

I am a few weeks ahead of you guys!! lets keep each other posted with this info :)

    Great!! We will! Best
