Oh Wow!!! I wish I had an answer for you...but I am so Happy they accepted your co-sponser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!..Really should only be a matter of days----CoNGRATULATIONS--Finally ...It is going to be!!
-
If you follow others who have applied for the spousal visa...It seems to take anywhere from 6- 9 months to finally receive the interview at the embassy. Then the waiting time for AP can be 3 weeks to whatever time they choose . You need to be patient
and have everything ready for your interview..Best Wishes
-
oh no
sounds as though you are one step closer but still on Egyptian Processing time. Please Keep your Faith and Pray it will come soon. I really Feel it is ridiculous that you have to go thru AP again especially after having your reaffirmation completed. Do they put your paperwork on top of the stack or at the bottom when they receive it in Cairo???? Makes you wonder..........Not FAIR
-
I would so ask your senator to send a request on the timeframe status....they seem to give them more information.(at least in my case they did). Maybe it Will get them to act more quickly...I am so happy u are finally at this step!!!! So now you are waiting for another interview or just approval on visa processing?? Best wishes Always

I have had that too happen to me be before in the past.....do not know why??? Just changed my password also

Congratulations!!!!!! I know you have been thru so Much..Best Wishes!!!!!

I have stated everything..and I am by no way in some kind of denial over reality.
Amazing how far-fetched all( I am sorry...some of you on here) find our story...it is what happened.Needless to say ...I have read similar stories before in the past on visajourney.
I will say I have come to find...and I am very disappointed in the fact how I truly respected views here as I was applying for my journey and during the process of my journey ,but once someone posts looking for advice because of a negative outcome you are all like a pack of vicious hungry wolves ready to tear apart the OP . Wow!! Really apparent here if you re-read these posts.
So, No Thanks to those who have done this(believe me you know who you are) and Thank you to those that simply tried to be fair with an unbiased attitude.
And I wish nothing bad on anyone..but if you do not know(My case just like many others being sent back for review could easily have happened to anyone of you)
Now....I feel like the wolves will begin to growl again.........................
-
I dont see this as mean at all. I didnt bring up the fact that I think some enity that lives in the sky will be able to affect what will happen to me. If you or others believe in this god then there should be no question about the outcome. Either way god is in control. How could god let this member down?
What exactly is your advice to help the OP or are you just here as a critic? You should confine yourself to what you understand.
My God has not let me down...and truly "Ning" I do not believe you "understand all", to have given me the advice you did. But it was your opinion and that is where it will lie. As your opinion.
In the end, God will grace My life with a final outcome that he has chosen for us.(YES "NING" My God is in control of my destiny) and my Faith in my Father will prevail.

Yes I have inquire by email to the Consular in regards to the status of his paperwork and have received the same email---stating it will be sent to USCIS for review and readjudication.
We are in constant contact and both very saddened over this situation. Is it possible that he could be leading a double life??? That is possible with anyone here...but no I do not feel nor think anything like that is happening in our relationship.Like I said before I appreciate everyone,s advice and theories ----in-between all of this I have gained some informative information. Now I will see what will be held in this reviewed petition...and go from there
Thank you very Much and Bless you all on your journey.

I double checked everything I sent(I thought the same that possibly I had put the wrong years) but no they are all correct. Yes, he has a brother who lives in Texas and has been here since 2008 took his oath of citizenship 2 months ago. His ex is from Kentucky but no contact between them. They were only married for 16 days --Consular asked him how they met...he told him he met her on FB they talked for 3 months , she flew out to him, they married and before she left they mutually decided they did not feel the same for each other and divorced before she left.So they were only married 16 days.
His divorce decree -- was all included in the package 3 Consular had. He has never been petitioned by anyone before.
Thank you for your advice..and I believe the same I will need to wait.At least then I will know the next step after I receive something from USCIS.
I believe it will be best to plan to see my fiance soon...
-
He asked him if he had any pictures other than the ones the Consular had...He handed them to the consular(pictures of me with his family celebrating my birthday) he looked at them ..handed them back and still said "no visa"
Amr divorced March 1 ,2010 ----------We met online March 5,2011(ONE YEAR LATER)--------I went to Egypt October 8,2011 for 8 days(in which time we became engaged)
I filed the petition I-129F on February 11,2012
All these dates lined out in the petition(So I do not see where he can get we knew each other)

CAPRI:In am not asking for a way to speed up the process...I was simply asking for opinions(advice) of anyone who may have been thru this process before.
I appreciate all of the advice I have received from so many here (and in the past) very much and just looking for the same now.
NY_BX: they did not keep his passport

My fiancee received this email from the Consular...where he had requested the reason for denial..This is what they sent back:
Kindly note that your case was not denied, the case will be sent back to US Citizenship and Immigration Services where it was initially filed for review and re-adjudication. USCIS will review the case and will provide you with a final decision
So...still not sure of where we stand at the moment--But it is making it clear it is not denied, right??
-
I have never sent him money and he has never asked for any. I was hoping they would tell him(he sent an email) requesting the reason for his denial so we can see what code they placed it under. As I said before, The Consular just said he felt (Amr) knew me when he was still married and could not grant the visa.
I am just asking for advice...If anyone has had a similar situation whether it is best to wait the 3 months to have USCIS to inform the reason for denial and find out if they will allow it to be appeal or would it be better to go and marry(forget about the wedding plans here)use the money to start a spousal visa.
The Consular,s decision I am sure was made before Amr was at the window. He was 2nd there and they called everyone and waited until no one was left to call him to be interviewed.

In order for us to help you, I think you should list any red flags you may have.
If your timeline is correct, the Consular used his prior marriage as an excuse. Just to clarify they DO look at the evidence. If you sent it with your K-1 packet, they take time to read it. I went to my fiance's interview and I can assure you they do. I saw many things written in several pages. The first thing they see are the tax returns. Then they scan through all the evidence. Something was off, including his prior marriage.
For us to help you we'll need more information- if you're able to provide it.
Also we did not front-load only the basics with about 10 pictures ...He had all the evidence with him including more pictures 2 large binders with chats and screenshots of him and his family and mine conversing(but none was looked at)
Age difference?10 years he is 31 -I am 41
religion difference? He is Muslim -I am Christain
were there pictures with you and his friends/ family?Alot of pictures of me with his family-He looked at them and just handed them back
How many visits?1
Any children?I have 4
Divorces?1 divorce for him(no children) and I divorce for me(4 children) I have been divorce since July 1999

Yes ..Amr and I never knew each other beginning March 2011----his divorce was finalized March 2010(1 year prior). We have reviewed everything and every question asked by the consular...the only remark he made was"I believe you knew Melissa when you were married...and I have experience in my field..Sorry No Visa" ------This is all he said. With last remark.."I will also tell USA the same"
I hope to receive advice from anyone who has had their visa denied and sent back to USCIS and waited to see if they were re-affirmed.
I do not want to fly and marry there and have to re-apply and wait another year-- only to come back and find that USCIS did not agree with consulars decision and is sending back for another interview.I have requested a joint interview and also emailed my congressman.I feel his decision was very unjust ,especially with his comment for the denial.Maybe it is quite possible the consular needed a new pair of glasses to see the difference between 2010 and 2011.
-
I apologize for the delay in posting our experience but I was in shock---Sadly we were denied. The consular never looked at any evidence Amr had with him. Asked a few questions which Amr answered correctly about us. Consular insisted that Amr knew me when married to his first wife(they divorced March 2010) We only began talking March 2011. Consular said I deny your visa on his feeling. Even after Amr told him I never knew Melissa until a year after my divorce.
I want to thank so many on here for their advice, kind hearts and prayers.Without them this would even be a worse situation. I know we will persevere ..God has giving us the most powerful ally which is Love. And with that we most be fearless and not let any man stand in our way.
Prayers are stronger than words written"denied" I love my God and I know he will carry us thru this.
I have emailed the consular countless times only to receive the same response"your case will be sent to USCIS for review and readjudication". I pray we will get an appeal in our favor...but as of now, I do not know what else we can do. Any suggestions I am open arms to them.
Thank you again ...

why cant you and him do the islamic ceremony at a Mosque?? This is what my fiance would like to do when he comes to America. You still apply for marriage license ,like usual...then call your local mosque about setting appointment to have the islamic ceremony.
-
Unfortunately anything is possible once it comes to being interview time. They may or may not ask for something more current to closer to time of interview. Can't give you a positive answer either way. Although I sent my infor. to my fiance in July...and we still wait for an interview date. So we will see if they ask him for more current 134 info.

He will need for his records when he is in The U.S. Sorry this was the only link I could find to print off this form. The Doctors will know this form. Will save you time and money to have this completed for your records than have to prove here when He is in the United States.
