      Thank you for that link...Do you think it is not a good idea to even go to Libya for 1 week to visit friends? I think it is a bad idea but just wanted your advice.He thinks it will coz no problems. I feel it will :-( I wish I could make him understand. They live in such an isolated world of thinking.(My fiance asked me if the USA had problems with Libya???)..I told him to plz google the news..

      No...I contacted Cairo again 3 days ago..and they said they have 2 -3 months from interview date to return petition to USCIS..(May18th would be 3 month mark) So i am hoping it will be in transit soon. That embassy aggravates me to no end..hehehehehehe... So we are keeping faith. Amr has lost his job and is now searching and is getting desparate..talking of going to Libya (coz he has a friend there) to search for work. I say.."BAD IDEA" ugh..so we wait. Any News for you?????? Unbelieva...

    today in the mail i got the official letter from NVC saying that after 2 weeks of AP with Dept of State our papers on the way to the Cairo Embassy for visa processing.

    Yaseen is nearly 6 months old. We waited and waited and Sayed went to his interview and got pushed off to AP. That's when I got pushy back! I took it to congress and our AP got approved in less than one month! We are waiting for the website status to change but the congress rep forwarded me the consular e-mail telling her that my husband's case was approved! His visa will be arriving shortly! This has been a 9 month battle. And my son has spent his entire life up to no...

      yes i keep my eye on it..also i sent an email to the embassy an they confirmed receiving the package 3 and will notify when an interview date is established..so at least they acknowledged us..hehehe..thank u for crossing your fingers for us..this journey is something else.:-)

      Embassy received our package 3 last week of November..We are hoping to hear from them anyday now.As we approach 7-8 week mark.So hopefully our interview will be in February, God willing. So expect 4-8 weeks at least. ;-)
