My fiancee said she asked her twice if she had to stick around for her responce and she said no, that she was done.

It's weird cause my fiancee says she actually got along with the interviewer and they were having a conversation and laughing.

I called the consulate and the guy told me, it wasnt in the computer yet.

He told me to wait two business days.

Thats right, i'll call the consulate when i get out of work.

I hope they can tell me

They did keep her passport.

She said they asked her simple questions about me and my family.

They asked hes some questions about my dad since he was my co-sponser. But after that she said "thats it, wait one week for your response"

I'm just worried because from what i'v heard, they let you know if you're approved or not at the interview, correct?

She said everything went fine. But at the end, the lady just told her that was it. She said she will know if she passes or not in a week.

Is this normal?

Is it true that once she gets her sealed packet, that she has to go to the border to get it signed off before flying to the US?

I thought she had to keep it sealed until she finally comes to the US (on the 16th hopefully)

She is gonna arrive at the SF airport.

I'm about to pay for my fiancee's visa online but it asks me to click on "Non-Immigrant Visas" or "Immigrant Visas"

I'm going to visit my fiancée in Mexico on the 20th, so perfect timing to take everything she'll need.

I'm getting everything I need together for my fiancée, but how do you guys get your case number?

And how do you know when the nvc is received or sent?

I'm a little confused, if someone that has gone through the Mexico process can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I never planed on getting a lawyer for this, but my family tried to help me out by getting me an appointment with them.

Good to know i wont need that lawyer.

I was speaking to the family lawyer about the K-1 process and told her i used the example form given on this site, i told her all my fiancee had to do is sign it and return it to me. but she argued with me and said the only paper i should be sending my fiancee to sign is the g-325.

She also says i cant send out the I-129f packet until my fiancee gets her mexican passport, is this true?

I was hoping i can send out the I-129f while my fiancee waits for her passport.
