CSC is not any better. They have been at a standstill for a while now. I keep thinking they are holding out for February when the change in fees takes effect, honestly. I am sorry you are at 8 months, I am not quite sure what I will be feeling when I reach that mark (and seeing how "fast" they are moving, we are well on our way). Did you put in service request ? Called to ask what is going on ?
Service request done, and it's such a waste of time calling them because they don't give answers. It's very frustrating.

It has been 8 months since NOA 1. what happened to the VSC? is there anybody here with my status?

well sjr09 i know where to get it now,i researched.and i appreciate your answer but you dont have to lecture me.
it's just so funny how one seeks other people's opinion, yet acting like she got it all figured out.

My fiance(a US citizen) filed a K1 visa in 2008 for a filipina fiance; got married and got her 10 yr greencard. divorced was finalized in 2011. We got engaged this year and filed for K1 visa. My questions are:
1. will his previous K1 application hurt our recent K1? (it's 6 months since NOA1 and we hear nothing from VSC)
2. is there some specific things we need to do since he is still currently sponsoring her 10 year greencard?
Please give me a heads up, i'm such a babe in the woods in these things.

G-325
in Philippines
Fiance is American, we starting K1 visa, just want to confirm if we really have to send 4 copies of G-325 to USCIS?
-
I am Filipina and my Fiance is from USA, we are filing for K1 Visa. I already sent papers to him like G-325, and the form is going to expire today and he hasn't filed to USCIS yet. Will there be a problem if we file later using same forms?

My fiance did K1 4 years ago. And he is divorced now, the benefactor has now 10 year green card. Is there anything he has to do before filing another K1 visa?

Love the song. Thank you Daddy

If you go directly to NSO office, yes You can get them the same day ( you start standing in line at 8am and go home at 4pm). But if you're not in a hurry you can go to third party ( same amount ), and you wait several days.
NSO Davao Releases documents same day you requested them. I think Manila has different system because the population is greater.

I was under the impression if one goes to NSO office, You can get CENOMAR and BC same day.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

How many G-325A's should i send to USCIS? someone told me 4 is that correct?
my fiance once married and filed for K1 visa way back 2008, he submitted 4 copies.
hmm I just sent 1 for my fiance and 1 for myself. Why would you want to send 4 copies?
thanks

So i requested Certificate of No Marriage from NSO, the stated purpose of my request is "Passport/Travel" my fiance Thinks i should have got it as for "Fiance Visa". Should i request another copy stating " Fiance Visa"?
it's not in the choices. does it matter?

Agreed. When you say "copies" we hope you are referring to duplicate signed forms, NOT by signing 1 form then running the form in a xerox machine.
Just be sure to sign/date in ink ALL forms and send. Send a couple extra in-case any become damaged or lost before the package is mailed.
Best Wishes!

Great Help!!! thank you so much!
K1 visa checklist from application to interview:
I. The petitioner must be:
a. natural born U.S. citizen,
b. naturalized US Citizen
c. Born outside US but with US Citizen parents
II. Requirements in Filing K1 visa
for petitioner
1. I-129F [type legibly, if not applicable put N/A]
2. Letter of intent to marry
3. Birth certificate
4. Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A
5. Give USCIS a passport-style color photograph.
6. Provide copies of evidence that you and your fiancé(e) have personally met. e.i Pictures, photocopy of Receipt, photocopy of Boarding pass.
7. FEE of $170
If either you or your fiancé(e) were married before, give copies of documents showing that each prior
marriage was legally terminated.
for petitionee
1. letter of intent to marry
2. Birth certificate
3. Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A
4. Give USCIS a passport-style color photograph. * if youre from cebu i recommend COLOURS AYALA, tell them US VISA*
If either you or your fiancé(e) were married before, give copies of documents showing that each prior
marriage was legally terminated.
after you gather all the document the petitioner will file the petition.
Filing the Petition
You must file the Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Form I-129F, with the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office that serves the area where you live. See the Department of Homeland Security's USCIS Field Offices for information on where you can file the petition. Note: You cannot file this petition at an embassy, consulate or U.S. immigration office abroad.
After the USCIS approves the petition, it sends the petition to National Visa Center for processing, prior to sending it to the embassy or consulate where your fiancé(e) will apply for a K-1 nonimmigrant visa for a fiancé(e).
sample: you can revised your very own letter of intent.. just basic format and wording.
LETTER OF INTENT TO MARRY
date:
I__your name____, of legal age.
I hereby certify that I am legally free to marry and intend to marry _fiancé(e)_, a U.S. citizen, within 90 days of my admission into the United States.
signed,
________
After sending the petition all you have to do is to wait. The consular section at the embassy or consulate where you, the fiancé(e) of an American citizen, will apply for a visa, will tell you about any additional specific requirements that you need to fulfill to complete your visa application.
How Long Does It Take?
The length of time varies from case to case according to its circumstances. The time it takes each USCIS office and each consular office to process the case varies. Some cases are delayed because the applicant does not follow instructions carefully or supplies incomplete information. (It is important to give correct addresses and telephone numbers.) In addition, the embassy or consulate may need to get security clearances for the applicant. Security clearances take time.

So how many copies of G-325A needs to be sent to my Fiance? he's in USA.
-
hi everyone me and my fiance are about to start K1 visa process. When will i need to get NBI clearance?
-
Yes, your fiance will have to start the process by filing from the States and the K1 flow chart will give you a list of everything he will need to send for approval. once the K1 is approved the case will be sent to the Embassy of your country and they will provide you with a packet that will tell you what additional information is needed for the interview.
Hope this helps!
thanks a lot!

we didn't get any RFE. It's very frustrating to see people who filed way behind us and are getting approved.
