Interview finally COMPLETED!!! That seemed to take way to long ... now pick up visa, buy plane ticket, and pick him up at airport!!!!

DNA test! Which means approved upon validation of hubby being the boys' father! That won't be for a couple more months, but I'm taking this a a win!!!

M&C, our IO actually said to us (and I don't know if this was just talk, or the truth) but he thanked them for us being so organized, and said if they had pics together, he would have approved them on the spot!!! AHHHHH!!! So, start getting all the proof you can gather! I know many people have gone in there with tons of pics and proof of paternity, but they are still sent on to a DNA test. I'll pray you slip through the cracks and get approved on th...

I made myself wait a few days and then called the NVC this morning. Chinedu and our daughter's interviews have been scheduled for April 15. I am feeling thankful and ecstatic right now!!!

CONGRATS!!!! I saw ur message on my wall, I think our problem came when I didn't tell the boys mom to bring any vaccination records to the boys' medical appointment. Please, tell hubby to get all of his and the baby's vaccination records ready so he can bring them to the medical. Might save you a few bucks! I hope. The boys went for their medicals yesterday and were turned away because they didn't bring their passports. Did I miss that somehow? I thought just interview letter and passport pics were required. sigh. Oh well. They are back there as we speak. Will have to go back again on Monday I guess.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!! (Yes, that WAS meant as a shout). Just got off the phone with the NVC. Case complete for both my husband and daughter, as of February 12, 2013. They are in line for an interview date. Yay! Yay! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in contact with amazeballs ebun who is going through the exact process right now (dna test for 2 step kids in lagos). Wednesday will be 2 months since her interview date but dna testing is complete. She is just waiting for lagos to call the kids back in to give them their visas. holy cow I'm ridiculously excited for her! LOL

ew. no bunk beds. and don't you DARE mention that to KC. lol he said bunk beds, too. I don't like them. This condo is NOT suitable for anyone other the KC and I so we will be moving right before/after the boys get here. Then I will buy proper beds (not bunks LOL) and the bigger stuff. I've been buying clothes for months. will probably outgrown them all before they get here. I keep telling myself to stop, but I can't. hah I AM saving up gift cards that I get here and there...
