I'm currently on H1b status. I want to come visit home and come back to the US.
I have a few question:
1. I found info on us embassy in Ukraine website saying:
"Generally, the Consular Section releases passports to the courier service within 5 business days of the visa interview. The courier service delivers them within 2-5 business days depending on the location within Ukraine.
Applicants should keep in mind both visa processing and delivery time when making travel plans to the United States. The Consular Section cannot honor requests to expedite passport delivery."
Does it mean that if I go to Ukraine I have to plan my trip for at least a month, while I receive my visa?
2. Have anybody here done it before? what documents should I bring for the interview and what questions do they ask?
