Well I just called USCIS and talked to a nice man. Ofcourse my answer was that they are currently processing petitions from Jan 9th and that If I don;t hear anything in the next 25 days then to call back.

I don't know why I can't reply to your comment on my page... yes, I'm soooo stressed out right now about the VSC. I know they got more than double the normal visa applications in January, but good grief! Another thing that kills me is that the last NOA2 from VSC for Morocco was mid-December. So there's not even a way to estimate when we'll hear something. Although, I have seen NOA2s coming from VSC for other countries that received NOA1 in mid-Feb.

Hey lady; Hope you're well! Thanks for the kind words... things are going as expected. We just received the letter from USCIS saying they've received the petition and that we're now officially in NOA1. I'm expecting adjudication sometime in June, and wondering how that will affect his interview (since it'll take probably another month and a half to reach Casablanca, which will be smack in the middle of Ramadan...) I suppose there's nothing to do but wait and see....

I was talking to my lawyer today and he shared with me that evidently the Pakistan US consulate is pretty tough because it's a high fraud post... and your case may have gone through some extra checking since (I see that) you're in CLT. Evidently on this side of the state there have been recent problems with fraud rings (I'm in Asheville, but my immigration lawyer is in CLT about 1-2 times a week), and Paki is one of the countries...

Sure wish I knew which Visa Processing Center I need to work with... I'm guessing Vermont but not sure.
