It seems that ugly people are getting denied now...
I got approved somehow... so that blows that theory.

My wife was granted her visa on a thursday morning in Juarez and when she got home to Monterrey friday afternoon it was waiting for her at the DHL office.

I believe, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, that you can get a copy of your letter at the information window at the consulate prior to your interview.

Great! Have an easy journey!

Yep, it happened to us also. We received the green card the day before we had an infopass appt to discuss another matter (another screw up on their part) so we asked about the 10 year expiration date while we were there. We had already researched on line and filled out an I90 and had an envelope ready to send to phoenix lock box. First she spent 5 minutes looking up the Phoenix lock box address we already knew about. She took the form and said we filled out a wrong section, that we needed to complete the section under permanent resident and not conditional resident. She crossed out my checked boxes and checked the boxes in the wrong section! If we had sent that in, we would still have the same problem. We showed her in the instructions where it specifically stated not to fill in that section if you were a conditional resident. I was polite and spoke in a normal tone of voice. She got pissed and told us to fill it out "however we want". so I did. :0)
update: received a notice from immigration that there was a mistake on my wife's green card 10 days after we saw the mistake and returned it. The notice had a different address than the one we were initially told to send it to. Hope we get a new one.....

Hi there Kay,
Thanks for the information.
I did not intend to mislead you but we posted around the same time, as my question was directed at Aluk since she was the only one who had replied to my post.
My fiancee will ask at the CDJ clinic whether they could administer her the vaccines.
Thanks for the help.
If there is money to be made and the government can charge you for something. they will.

You're almost there Tony! Congrat's and best wishes! The two of you will be on top of the world shortly.

Good evening all,
My fiancé will be CDJ next week in order to attend to get interview.
I have a question, as far as her vaccines, she has had them all but she can't find her vaccinations' record.
Can she have the vaccines done in CDJ or before we AOS?
She is in her late 20s and I wonder how many shots she will need not counting the flu shot (since her AOS will be during the flu season)
Thanks all
Chances are they(CDJ) would not have honored those records even if she had them, You can get the shots there during the medical.

We found it easiest to get the medical exam a day or so before the interview in Juarez.
-
you can also go to the consulate when you get to Juarez before your interview and get a copy of the appointment letter.

My beloved wife arrives today at 4:10 here in Las Vegas. Exactly eleven months from the day we were married. Thank you everyone for your input, your answers, your prayers and good thoughts. I hope and pray that your journey is a smooth one.

They may send it to your local office for approval but they may never tell you. Ours went to NBC and was approved in 140 days. I don't know if ours was ever sent to my local office or not.

we started 9/26/12 and have an interview date June 13th.

Hi guys! We are planning to book online for our flight to US via Travelocity. Anyone who have tried it? Is it ok?
Anyone who have tried it, kindly share your experience. I will highly appreciate your effort. Thanks
I have booked flights through travelocity dozens of time with no problems. you should have no problems. I used them just last week to book my flight to join my wife when she has her interview in a few weeks. Enjoy your trip!

I am landing in El Paso on the 5th because I live in Puerto Rico and I need to take a taxi too. Do you know some company or you will be taking one from there? We are staying at Quality Inn
I was just looking at the list of taxi services shown on the El Paso airport website. I am going to call them next week and check prices for boarder crossings.

Hello everyone
My wife's interview has been scheduled at the Juarez consulate in Mexico for June 13th. For me to buy a plane ticket to fly to Juarez to join her (I know I can not attend the interview) is very expensive. Much cheaper to fly to El Paso TX. My question is what is the best (safest) way for me to get from the El Paso airport to our hotel near the consulate? Thank you, Aluk

My wife's interview appointment has been scheduled!!! whew!!!! Congrats to the others getting their interview dates. If you haven't yet, yours will come soon.
-
Now you get to wait a few weeks to have them send you a notice of when your interview appointment will be. It's been 12 days for me since case complete. In 2 more days I will start calling nvc everyday again to find out anything new.

Case completed April 18th!

Congratulations! Hopefully my wife will be interviewing in Juarez in a moth or two. I don't think I will be able to get time off to accompany her and she is a little nervous about being in Juarez alone. Looking forward to your review. Again,Congratulations!
