  1. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide me information. Today, we received an attempted certified delivery from USPS, the note they leave stated it was from immigration. Does anyone know what type of items would be delivered by certified mail from immigration? You all know what we are praying for, but I just checked the USCIS website and there isn't any updates. It says I can't pick it up until Monday, do you know how far away Monday is? So I am hoping someone can give me insight in to what they have had delivered by certified delivery from Immigration...thanks again!

  2. I don't have a number for you to call, but I can let you know that our interview was 11/3 and we are waiting as well and the IO made it sound as if it were approved, she explained 10 yr green card and also advised how to apply for citizenship and still think they intend to, but just praying and working on patience. We did receive an I130 approval afterwards just praying for i485 approval now, I will let you know if we get any news. Sorry I don't have more info for you but it helped me to know there was someone else out there waiting too so I thought I would drop you a note letting you know you aren't alone.

  3. It is just a step in the process. It is not a bad sign, just a step (well it is kind of a good sign because you are on to the next step). We received this notice 5 days after responding to our RFE on I485, then were approved EAD in about 2 weeks. Depending on your local office, you will get an interview letter, we received our letter informing us of our interview a little over a month later.

***Our case just went to our local office where we had to interview, there apparently are cases that get transferred to CSC, a lot of those don't seem to result in having an interview.

(PS I did try to edit so I would not have two posts, I am sorry but my computer locked up and then it wouldn't let me). Take care!
