Thanks inky. Is that an opponion or a fact? (I'm not being sarcastic in any way)
-
Hey guys, quick question. Does the fact that the mexican citizen is not working right now have any effect on our k1 visa approval?or in our case, our waiver approval?
-
No, looks like that is the only issue. But I'm working on a waiver. Its a lot of work but it's not impossible.
-
No I didn't "jump the border" I went when I was 7 years old on a tourist visa but it expired in 2001. I didnt RETURN to Mexico until january 2011 (at the age of 22)
-
=\ ok well thank you
-
Oh really? So it's not the officer that interviews you that deals with the waiver?
-
=\ K Thanks. I hope I can just do that right then and there instead of waiting two more months
-
Hi, I recently had my K1 interview and unfortunately I was told she couldn't give me the visa at that moment because I was previously in the US and I was required a waiver. She said she will mail me instructions to how I can apply for the waiver. However, yesterday I received a call from the consulate, asking me to make a "followup" appointment because my fingerprints didn't go through or something was not complete. I made an appointment for march 12. My question is, can I fill out the required documents for the waiver and take them to her the same day or do I have to make ANOTHER appointment to turn that in?

Hey guys thanks for all the help. @boiler- since you insist on me getting a lawyer, how much would one run me? (ballpark price) @jay-Kay- I checked out that site but it's not user friendly. =\ but special thanks to summersurf- I think that's what I'ma do. No lawyer for now
-
Ok. Well thank you both but now I'm confused. Is there a chance that the waiver might not even be required? And if it is I should DEFINITELY contact a lawyer right? I shouldn't attempt to process a waiver on my own?
-
Thanks but that website isn't very user friendly. Do you or anyone else know how long the waiver process will take? How long before I can FINALLY be with my fiancée?
-
How can I apply for the waiver and how long does that process take? Will I have to re-submitt the entire I-129f??
-
How can I apply for a waiver?
-

-

Oh ok then were good to go. We received the letters already. And "jay-Kay" if you're reading this, It is the correct form. My fiancée called and confirmed =]

Hey thanks for the link. But I didn't get a letter with my appointment for the consulate, was I supposed to get one? And it doesent specify if I need an appointment for the medical exam, it just says 5 days in advance. Can I just walk in and get the medical exam with no appointment?
Oh and no sorry it's the Juarez consulate
-
Hey guys, so thank god everything looks like it's going great. I have all my paperwork ready. It's time for my ASC appointment tomorrow and the consular appointment On feb 24th. My question is, do I need an appointment to do the medical exam? I called and a machine answered Wich was not very helpful. Please Help
-
Oh ok. Hey well thanks again you helped me big time lol
-
Lol I Know. But I'm Saying That Because When I Was Doing the Ds-260 It Said To Mail Out Some Documents
-
So do I have to mail all that to the NVC or no?
-
Oh and one more thing. I have to mail in
Original birth certificate
Court records (copies)
Copies of passport
Two full color photos (2x2) ((with the name on the back and case number ))
To the NVC right? Or no?
