Ok thank you so much, could you please tell me what 'portal' is - sorry I am probably asking dumb questions, just terrified of doing it wrong!! Thank you so much.

Hi there,
I am so confused and getting stressed about this. My husband as filed for my IR-1 visa and we have paid the affidavit of support processing fee. I guess I thought that he would get a letter to his home in the States telling him that he could now file the affidavit of support forms but he didn't. He got some sort of confirmation that they had received his payment. So do we just go right ahead and send in the forms? It is also confusing trying to figure out which forms to use.
Thank you in advance for your help, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!
Ellen.

Thank you guys for posting about your own experiences. I am visiting my husband next week and we have sent off our I-130 form. I am so so nervous to go through immigration but I have plenty of proof to show that I am living and working full time in IReland - hopefully it works out ok!!!

Hi,
I am from a visa waiver country and my husband has recently sent off our I-130 form. I am due to go visit him for a week in february and I am just wondering what I should say to the immingration officer. Will they know that I have applied for a visa and should I mention it? I have plenty of proof (pay slips / car tax / letter from work etc.) that shows that I am living in Ireland full time.
Anyone who has been in the same situation, I would really really appreciate hearing what you have to say!
Thank you guys so much!!

I know, seems obvious right? I am just so paranoid that somehow I will do it wrong. Especially because the sample form says 'don't leave gaps in time' - i assume they mean gaps within these five years!
Sorry for the silly question!

Hi,
I was wondering of someone could help me, it says in the G-325A form to list both your addresses and employers for the last five years. It is sufficient to just do the last five years or should I go back further? Any advice?
Thank you!

Hello,
I'm still learning to navigate this website - this is my first post so apologies if this question has been asked tons of times already. My husband I I have been married five years, he is American and I am Irish. We each live in our home countries at the moment and I want to move to the States. Is it true that if I apply for the C-1 visa that I will not be able to enter the States until after it is approved. Because I can't imagine not being able to see him for seven months or so
I really really really appreciate any advice or help! Thank you,
