    Hi VJ friends. I just wanna share our situation right now. I got interviewed last Nov. 7, 2012. I didn't heard the consul said the magic word "approved". He told me instead "Your application is fine and your paper looks good. We just have to make a little review to it. And wait for your number to be called for final instructions." No other papers were asked for additional. No paper or whatever that I brought with me was asked. So I waited and the guy in the next window told me to give my delivery slip to 2go. I asked him if I am approved, he yes.So I got relief. But the thing is my visa hasn't arrived yet. And considering it's for pick up. Today is my 9th day of waiting. Me and my husband keeps on calling US Em for update. The first time the lady said it's for printing. Then after, they just answer us the same thing.. That it is still at the Embassy. Tried calling 2go also and told us it's not there yet. And it only became difficult when my husband's grandpa who took care of him when he was a kid past away the other day. They live in Florida while my husband is in Seattle. My husband wants me to go with him before the burial of his grandpa since he's leaving alone. We told the operators in the Embassy's hotline about our situation and told us they don't have control to it. We emailed and no reply yet. Called just now and same answer. It's just so frustrating knowing we're done already with the process but this happens to us. :( Please pray for us that today or tomorrow my visa will be ok and released. Thank you friends,.

    That's wat happened to us, I got my visa 3 weeks after my interview.. We keep on calling the embassy but same answer so we decided just to wait. And I got a call from 2Go my visa is ready. To pick up =] be patient I know soon u will have ur visa!! They just doing some reviews on ur papers. Gud luck and Godbless.

    My fiancee has had her farewell parties and tons of visitors. Even her sister came from Dubai to see her off. She arrived at Manila airport and will be taking off at 7:50 am Manila time or in about 4 hours.

    I am super excited :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    Haha I was so nervous since yesterday.., cant even sleep just had one hour sleep and i can't even eat hahaha:)) weeee i'm so happy haha been chating with my fiance right after i got home haha.. American Consul was so nice and been smiling the whole time that makes me feel so comfortable and finding my self smiling the whole time too then he said the magic word.. I thank him so much and got teary eyes .. and smiling like crazy while waiting for my name to be called at window 72... Weeeeee.. I still can't believe it.. Hahhaha

    Congrats!!!! :dance: have a safe trip soon..=) i knew that feeling..!!

    This is what she needs:

    Requirements for Registration

    Original and photocopy of Passport;

    Original and photocopy of visa;

    Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound/ Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada bound/ Certification of Eligibility (for Japan-bound);

    Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;

    Duly completed emigrant registration form; and

    Payment of the authorized registration fee.

    Hi everyone. My fiancé is flying to Manila with her luggage ready and expecting to stay in manila for only two days before she can fly to USA on Friday. We have everything on hand already except the CFO stamp. Btw she took the CFO orientation already weeks ago and she is going to Manila to get the stamp. Could anyone advise me what we need or what to expect when she goes to CFO in Manila for the stamp? I read several versions. One person said that she needs to fill up more forms other person said she need only her visa and passport only and it would take no more than 30 minutes. Sorry but I read so much of this and went over the website from beginning to end thousand times but I'm still paranoid. Could someone give me a personal experience and guide us on this? I'm more nervous than she is. Pls help.

    hi im going to CFO main office also tomorrow, i dont know wer it is , but i will just take a cab to bring me there... i will just have my sticker, im done with the seminar before my interview.. but CFO at st mary's transfered to the main office so no choice i need to go there even im not really familiar with the exact location..

    hi,im pregnant women my PD is april 2011 can i call nvc to accelerate the process because that pregnancyi want that my baby born their i have just one month now.

    u cant do nothing on it... all of us has the same process weather pregnant or not, as they said its not an excuse,, i was pregnant when we are on process of our visa, but now im 8 mons and we just got our visa, i will be flying usa on friday i just hope evrything will be ok, im healthy and i know i can make it... i hope u can get ur visa before u deliver ur baby..=) just like us...!!     Dear VJ, I just want to share my experience regarding my k1 visa application. I had my interview last August 22, 2012 with the US Embassy Manila. It went good and I was told to just wait for my visa. Then days pass by I called the USEM to inquire the status of my k1 visa then she told me that our case is under administrative review. And further she told me that they don't need any document for the meantime. And this makes us so stressed coz we don't know whats going on with our papers. Now its one month already but havent heard anything from them. What should we do now? Its kinda torture on our part not knowing the reasons why we are placed in admin review. Please give me insights about this matter. Thank you so much VJ! more power!

    hi. just be patient in waiting.. we had the same situation before.. but after a 1 month of waiting i got my visa..=) they just doing background check to u or either ur petioner.. it will be ok soon...just keep on praying..God will always be there for both of u..TC and Godbless..

    hi guys!! Finally i can say this.....

    VISA ON HAND!!!! After 8 months of NOA2, 2 Months before interview and 8months of excruciating 221G, got my visa yesterday morning, wasn't really expecting this early because we are on 221g and it was Saturday yesterday i thought no delivery for 2go.. and i just renewed my medical last week.. so happy, and finally we'll be together soon.. hoping we'll get a ticket on oct 9 before his birthday and anniversary... NEXT STOP: CFO Seminar.. Thank You VJ..

    Congrats..=) i just got mine too september 17... after one month of interview and under 221g...finally the wait is over.. im going to get cfo sticker on wensday.. when will u have ur seminar? im done on it but i still need to go back for sticker...TC and Godbless

    thanks for the reply...yes i did and gave to the lady at window 69...is that already a sign of approval ang nothing for me to worry? if its denied does the CO tell you on that time.?

    hi sis we are under AR too,, i just done my interview aug 14 my interview went well so i tot i was approved but they gave 221-g form, with out any documents to be sent or lacking but just wait until u hear from us... :crying: .. we really want to have the visa as soon as possible coz im 6mons preggy, but still no luck i hope we will get our visa soon...just keep on praying and keep your self busy..     My fiance went to the embassy interview and after everything was looking good they gave her a 221g (administrative review or precessing) but there is nothing marked with the only exception that it says wait to hear from us. I called the embassy to find our what that meant and they said to wait. If there is a problem they will notify us or we will just get the visa soon.

    Does anyone have the same problem or knows how long it might take to get the visa or to hear from them?

    Two details I need to add are:

    1. They kept her passport

    2. One thing I am suspicious that might have triggered this to happen is that when she filled up one of the forms she put that I was not a US citizen. When the she was asked about it she apologized and answered that I am a US citizen and the consul corrected it himself.

    I just finish talking on the phone to someone on the embassy and they said the documents will stay in Manila and they will review it. It might take one day or longer and they will notify us (via text message) when the visa is on the delivery process or if she needs to go to the embassy again.

    So desperate !!!!

    I’m kind of confused of your situation I check your timeline your interview won't be until Aug. 15 and she had interview on Aug. 13??? Hhhmmm something is not right??

    Anyways what kind of question did they ask her? Did she get nervous that an immigration officer doubted your relationship?? One of the vjer members submits a review regarding her interview at the usem-manila here in VJ. She mentions that her interview went well. But someone had problem w/their interview she not quite sure what’s the reason now making me wonder if that's your fiancé lol

    Sorry about the wrong date. She had the interview the 13th.

    She said she didn't get nervous and she was confident the interview went well except she made a mistake on the question "Is your petitioner US citizen?" she marked no and the consul ask if that was correct and she said "sorry madam he is US citizen" and the consul corrected it. At the end the consul said everything was fine and told her to go out and wait for her name to be called. When her name was called they gave her the 221(g)and she asked if the visa was denied but they said no. They told her to wait to hear from them and if there is a problem they will call and they kept her passport.

    Any suggestions or recent experiences?
