      Well...as I said, my fiancee had to pay a fee at the door also and I had read on the Embassy website that there was a security fee so I assumed that was what it was. Shawna was saying Ryan had to pay a fee at the front desk and I'm thinking it's the same fee.

      I think they have a security fee. My fiance had to borrow money from his aunt who fortunately was there with him...then there's the delivery fee too once they're in.

    Still no packet 3. Mailed off the DS-230 today from Sav to Kingston. We'll say how long it takes to get to Kingston and whether or not we hear from them when they receive it.

      Received the following email from the embassy today. "No we did not receive the DS230 application form, however I printed off

      the scanned one and place in the file and updated the information. We

      cannot guarantee you the requested date, the system will generate an

      appointment date for the applicant." I had asked for an appointment while I'm there visiting. The form I sent to them was unsigned. It's not clear to me if they accepted that one or if they'll be w...

    I am shaking with excitement. I received my NOA2 today. I just wanted to note for everyone out there who might be wondering about the USCIS website that my case never showed up in the website.

      I'd also like to note that I am a woman who is significantly older than her fiancee. I was scared my application might be slowed or rejected based on this, but it doesn't seem to be an issue from USCIS's perspective.
