Yes, I have this article bookmarked. I think if you get married, you will still have to overcome whatever reason they sent back the fiance petition. I'm in the situation where I can not get a an answer for why it was sent back and that article states that the consular officer must provide an explanation. I am writing to my senator to try to get more answers. We have not decided if we will try for fiance again or get married. Most likely, we will just apply again for the fiance visa.

USCIS received it on 9/5/13 and we received a letter dated 9/9/13 that said since it is expired, it will not be revalidated. It also says we can file again (with fee of course.)
