Wondering how you're doing and about the plans?
I am still in the process of packing stuff up to move and save money. Mike said he knows of a hotel in Bakau that is 250 dalasi per day, most others are 600-700 dalasi. I finally heard from my friend at the Jerma Beach Hotel and will write her back. It's been months since I tried to reach her. Blessings to you and Happy New Year.

I'm new here and enjoyed reading how you stood your ground! My hubby is in Gambia and we haven't filed yet, trying to get affidavits and get them notarized, etc. plus I see that they actually want 3 years worth of tax records, geez. I am curious to know how long he will need to be in Dakar to do all the doctor/medical stuff and how much it will cost us.
