  1. hello everyone i have passed my interview today and the result is administrative review

they took my passport , pictures and letters that my wife sent to me and she said " i will keep those with and we will call you very soon "

    is that a good sign?

It's an excellent sign that they have kept your passport. At least they did not flat out refuse. Good luck to you and your spouse! I hope you get your approval very soon!

  2. I called Us embassy since the day i got refusal but only i hear tape from12.30 to 3.30 and i send email on pakivinfo@state.gov but no response.I am losing all my strength and hopes after reading some other website experience that even senator show uninterested by them self and my lawyer says wait for USCIS response i know nothing will going to hapen i dont think i will get another interview.I am so forgetful now that even i forget to drink a glass of water for full day yesterday i realize that i feel pain in my back due to lack of water actually i dont want any treatment or any care now things are now on worse side.i feel i will give all my hope soon.

    Safiway,

you may need to allow yourself to grieve, but the fight is not over. Continue to email the embassy, call, and continue to contact your state representatives. However, this is not over. Once your petition is back at USCIS, and they decide to reaffirm and/or send you a NOIR, you will have another chance to fight. I suggest you start getting your evidence together. Also you and your spouse should begin drafting your rebuttal letters as well. I know several people in the MENA forum have gone through this experience, and have triumphed. Although this is a setback, and it means more time apart. In the end you can be successful.

    Please sign.

Here's some more information about this petition:

Reunite separated bi-national and American families separated by

    current immigration statues.

We the people, ask the Presidency to immediately begin making steps to

reunite families that are currently being separated due to the 3/10 years

bars and/or extensive periods of time of administrative processing. Families

are being separated for years, and are offered little assistance,

information, and/or insight in regards to why their families are being kept

apart. American spouses are often kept in the dark regarding the status of

their immigration cases. We ask you to put the provisional waiver program in

affect, lessen the time that consulates can place applicable family members

in administrative processing, and address the prejudice and unfair treatment

by consulate officers towards family members being petitioned.

  4. I posted previously regarding my husband was called for a second interview, and was given the denial form due to unlawful presence. I immediately emailed the embassy to inform them that this was not accurate, and my attorney and Senator's office emailed them documents that were missing from my husband's file. We were placed in AP again. After three weeks, my husband received a call to come for an appointment at 3:00PM next week. I pray that he will finally be able to give them his passport for his visa! Anyhow, has anyone had experience with having an interview after AP or submitting more documentation?

  5. My husband had his interview today, and was told our case would be put in AP to be further reviewed before a decision can be made. He got a call later from the Embassy asking him to return in a week and bring his passport? They just told him the CO wants to speak with him. So confused, and thinking it will be a second interview

Anyone with a similar experience...Im thinking this could be bad or maybe good? Who knows.

  6. The officer told my husband that we were not denied, but that she could not make a decision at this time. She stated that they would call him. No length of approximate time it could take was given...

    SUCKS.

I don't know that much about AP but it doesn't sound good. @BerryNRocco: I hope your situation is resolved soon

When I've ever asked my husband about Something Algerian couples do or Algerian women do, he reminds me he's never been married to an Algerian. He makes no assumptions based on his sisters or mom because a marital relationship is like no other relationship. I've been around MENA women to know they are generally no worse or better... Women are women everywhere. All with good and bad qualities.

  8. Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to Waivers forum; topic is an inquiry regarding attorneys who specialize in waivers, not a spousal visa process topic.

Well you were hav ebeen given excellent suggestions pertaining to attorney's who specialize in the I 601 waivers. I am working with Lizz Cannon, and she is amazing. She keeps you informed and works very hard to win your case. Look her up! She provides free initial consultations as well. Be sure to give her an accurate background regarding your case.

  9. My husband and I try to skype twice a day for a few hours. I also keep myself busy with school, work, hanging with friends. I also want to find a hobby! This journey has definitely made us truly appreciate one another and increased our ability to grow together. Immigration will definitely put a relationship to the test, and one must remember that it will be over....eventually.
