  1. Well, wherever she is from she is marrying an american person, and moving in here, so she should be aware of how that is considered in the USA.

I am the one moving in, and having almost no money. That is why I felt I have to offer my husband a prenup. He rejected it and we don't have one, but if I would have been in his place I would have really liked the other person to offer the prenup, that is why I did it.

  2. After NOA2 my case was sent straight to the "consulate", what is the USA Embassy in Spain. It sounds ok, but after 14 days the embassy say they haven't received it yet...

Does anyone have a similar experience?

I am hoping that the embassy just say that they have not received it because they have not processed it, but all the paperwork is already there, in Madrid, is that possible?

    Thank you very much!

  3. Hello everybody!

We got an RFE, it took awhile answering to it, since I had to send documents from Spain and my bf was super busy at the time. We know for sure that the papers got there last friday, but we haven't heard anything else. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG CAN IT TAKE TO GIVE THE NOA2 AFTER ANSWERING A REF?

I am already dying because of the 81 average days after noa2 to get interviewed, so I really need to know how much can be added to that time waiting for NOA2 after an answered RFE.

  4. Hello everybody, we got a RFE because we sent printed copies of the original forms, so we are sending all the original forms.

The RFE says to sign the enclosed form in the block indicated but they only sent the two sheets of paper, so I'm not sure what the enclosed form is supposed to be.

I'm assuming they mean the I-129 form, so I can just sign the RFE they sent and send in the original signed forms. The RFE doesn't have a place that requires a signature. It only has our names listed and receipt number.

    Does anyone know about this?

  5. Hello everybody.

i live in Spain and my boyfriend and I are applying for a k1 visa, we got out NOA1 on december.

I want to move there with some money and I may get a good job now, so I may don't wont to immediately move to the US. I know that after the k1 is accepted. I know I can wait 6 months to enter the country and getting married in the next 90 days. That will give me some time to make some money here. The question is:

Once I get the k1, do I have to enter the US with it even when I am just visiting and don't want to get married yet? I mean can I enter as a tourist, to use that 6 months lapsus and enter with it when that time is finishing?

Do I have to immediately move to the US after married, or I could get married come back to Europe and move there when my work permission is ready?

I just don't want to be broke and have to live with my fiancé money.

    Thank you very much!
