Recieved my Oath letter schedule today. November 15th Oath Ceremony.

Recieved text/email message today,( updated status) they sent a letter for my oath schedule. Just waiting for the hard copy.

Congratulations kaibigan! I am contemplating on applying for dual citizenship now, the reacquisition of my Filipino citizenship. I hope the process is easy. You should receive the oath letter soon.

Salamat is a filipino word for "thank you."

Salamat, Kaibigan. I am looking forward to receive the oath letter next week. I hope I will be in line with others who is doing the oath here 30 miles away from my hometown. As I am not looking forward to go back to drive 6- 6 1/2 hours again so soon. But if that what is gonna be, I'll just go. I can't find any reason to postpone or cancel my oath taking ceremony and mess up the whole process. . I'll just tough it out.

Recieved a text/email messages today 10/17/13 regarding my status...

On October 17, 2013, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled.

Thanks Irma for starting this thread. This helped a lot...and to jay2pinoy, for sharing the detailed experience in the Chicago field office. I had my interview October 9, and before I get out of the door I see to it that I checked jay's story so I will have an idea on what to expect. Thanks guys!

Hello everyone! I had my naturalization interview today (Chicago). The interview results said - You passed the test of English and U. S history and goverment and USCIS will send you a written decision about your application. I'm worried because my friend told me that when she had her interview the IO's checked box A - that say's Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. Mine has no check. Is this something that I need to worry about? Please help me guys.......

I recieved my text and email message September 3rd/Tuesday. And on the USCIS website, an update of my status/application as well. I recieved the hard copy of the letter/NOA, Monday September 9th, 5 days after, including the weekend, so its more likely 3 or 4 business days after I recieved the text and email messages.

I was inline for interview exactly 1 month prior to my 5th year anniversary, then a week later was scheduled for interview, letter arrived after another week. I have heard people had to drive 4 to 6 hrs to the interview location, cross fingers and anticipate that it isnt in your case. I will share my interview experience to all of you when I go on Sept 17. Good luck to us! =)

That's smooth, and you are on the sweet spot right now...how lucky you are that you live closer to the place for your interview. Same with Irma. Yeah, I feel bad for the people that drive more than I do for the interview. I just wish for all of us a safe trip to the destination and to the successful outcome. The same with me: I live close to Downtown Chicago. I am scheduled to have the interview in Chicago, IL @ 101 West Congress Parkway, 3RD Floor Citizenship Office. In the same office I also had my adjustment of status interview. Good Luck!

I haven't recieve any hard copy of an interview schedule yet, though I recieved a text/email and uscis online status message (today) stating that I am in-line for an interview. So I have no idea when and where is my interview going to be. The Peoria idea was just something I read somewhere, don't know if it is for oath taking or interview, not really sure. Anyway, if I happen to have an interview in Chicago, I might be running into one of you guys. Just have to drive three and half hours each way.

Recieved an online message and a text message today 8/26/13, stating that I am in-line for interview and testing. Waiting for the hard copy in the mail.
