  1. This is the 3rd time my husband done his medical and the cost is not cheap. I know they do a drug test and they all come back negative. He has no medical problems. His medical is at the embassy and the case was updated on Nov 12. On Dec. 2, he went to a psychology appointment because it's required. He took a drug test and came out negative. They asked him questions and he passed it. The results will be at the embassy within a week and I hope this is the end of it.

I didn't want to post as I was deeply sad about the situation I'm in but it looks things are moving and I hope my husband's visa is issued before Christmas.

OMG ! That's really costly and hassle. I pray that your husband will get his visa soon. Good luck.

  2. I was originally scheduled to be interviewed today Dec04 however I was advised via phone call that. I was re-scheduled Dec 06 because the embassy will be closed today. I have confirmed this by calling the embassy the next day.

When I called the embassy today someone answered the phone. Maybe only the customer service reps reported for work. Don't know why they're close today.

  3. Initially, the processing date was October 21, 2013 then a month later, after periodically checking the online Visa status, the date was updated to November 18, 2013...so as you had stated with the good news, around what timeframe do you think I should be receiving my Visa? Thanks dancin5hr.gif

Did you ever live or work abroad ? Is any of your parents non-Filipino ?

  4. There are tracking options in my link

    follow the flashing arrow

I already got my visa packet, thanks. However some data are incorrect in the 2 derivative beneficiaries' data summary. I already emailed the embassy about what to do. But Hank, got any idea ?

  5. Try calling them thru Skype: ustraveldocs-philippines , ask them about your passport status. I read in some posts, that sometimes no update status happens even when your visa has been already issued and delivered.

YES you're right. Just got a text message from 2GO that our visa is ready for pickup. YEHEY !!!

  6. Try calling them thru Skype: ustraveldocs-philippines , ask them about your passport status. I read in some posts, that sometimes no update status happens even when your visa has been already issued and delivered.

Oh ok. Pls post here once you receive a text from 2Go. Thanks.

  7. I havent received notice from 2Go but I checked my passport at ustraveldocs, it says it has been picked up from the embassy. Hopefully, it will be delivered tom.

  8. Hi, I just want to share my experience in getting my visa. (US bound)

January 2013- My first medical, I started my medication last year and completed 5 months outside SLEC, they told me to finish my medication at SLEC to complete my 6 months medication. I have to go there everyday to take my medication.

    - I have to repeat my sputum 3x

-my medical is only valid for 3 months

May 2013 - my interview done but they required me a document and gave me 221g form

    - I submitted the document required but the medical exam was already expired.

July 2013- for repeat medical because my medical was expired (another sputum and waited for 2 months, and another payment)

October 2013 - I finished my medical and the SLEC submitted my medical exam after a week.

November 2013- Administrstive processing for 3 weeks and 1 week ready status

December 2 2013-visa was issued based on ceac.

OMG! What a hassle. But at least you finally made it. Congrats !

  9. Hello, guys.

Well, my husband did his medical but the doctor (a different one who is a total bi#ch) told him he has to take an additional exam, which they want to see if he consumes drugs. The truth is, he never consumed drugs. He drinks but he is not an alcoholic. It's going to cost an extra 125 dollars and he's going on Dec 2, three weeks from now. This is beyond bullsh$it. He said it's new rules but this is full ####### and this stupid embassy is making our lives miserable. I'm done posting and to the people who are waiting, good luck because in my case, it's a case of bad luck.

How much did your husband originally pay for his medical ? The drug test should have been done the first time he has his medical.

  10. Hi vj family. I wonder if someone could possibly help me to connect with NSO in the Philippines.

I have a 6 year old daughter who's still in the Philippines and it's killing me not to have her with me in US. Although we Skype often and we pay for her school, I would preferred that she's w me, with my husband and her step kuya. She's so excited to come here.

Here's the situation, due to her birth certificate problem she wasn't able to come here. A month after I arrived in US we have applied for the correction of her BC (I know I should have done that before I came here, I regret but due to the circumstances back then I couldn't do it) anyway, the petition for her BC correction got approved on MAY. I have hired an atty to help our case and went back to Philippines for the hearing. On October 2013 my husband filed a petition for stepdaughter. November I did set an appointment for her passport application in phil. I've sent the documents that dfa wants (SPA, Consent, and affidavit of illegitimacy) so when they were at dfa my mom sent me a message and told me that DFA denied to issue a passport for my little girl because they are saying that the annotation on my daughter BC is wrong. Now my mom is going back and forth to the LCR, court and NSO. She said NSO is being pain in the a** they are rejecting her and claiming that they cannot retype the annotation because it is being scanned In the system. I understand that but on tbe first place it's their mistake. They should have type it correctly and check it very well before they released the birth certificate. I feel like I have invested lot of money to fix my daughter docs but yet it's not over. We still need to deal with the government. I feel sorry for mom because she's the one who's doing a lot of leg work. I know how stressful it is.

I hope someone could help me to speed up the process. I have checked my daughter's petition on uscis website and it says that they have transferred my daughte's petition to our local uscis who has the jurisdiction of her case. I'm praying that there's no delay or RFE.

Pray for our case. I miss my daughter. sad.png(

TIA vj family. Hope to hear from you soon.

These govt employees can do anything IF they want to. Obviously they are waiting for "lagay". I never give lagay myself when dealing with govt agencies ... I just use my "charm" ... hehehe. If it fails ask your lawyer for help.

  11. Hi! I checked my passport at USTrAveldocs and it says 'your passport is still with post'. Does this mean it is ready for pick up by 2Go from US embassy? My visa was issued on CEAC last friday (nov29).

What did you enter in USTrAveldocs ? Your passport # ? Mine was also issued last Nov 29 but invalid status in USTrAveldocs.

  12. We called the embassy and they said the CO requested a document but hasn't arrived yet.

I was born in Libya by the way and am half Libyan but grew up here in the Philippines with my grandparents.

The reason for your AP is they are doing background checks on you since you were born in Libya and a parent is Libyan. Daily updates mean your case processing is almost near the end. Good luck.

  13. Hi geonval! Still no update on our case.

What we found out is that the CO requested a document last Oct 8. Not from us though.

I wonder what kind of document are they looking for. NSO, NBI would take around a month.

Does anybody have an idea on what other documents they're requesting? Thanks in advance.

Still keeping the patience and prayers for everyone here.

How did you know that the CO requested for a document ? Have you lived or work abroad ?

  14. Wow 4 1/2 months. Well you patience paid off. Congratulations!

Thanks. It's very stressful and will try not only your patience but also your resourcefulness and faith too. I hope this will be an inspiration to those who are also waiting for so long.
