Anyone else still waiting for NOA-2 after 5 months.

Where did 39 days come from? My petition has been at California Service Center for 5 1/2 months now so I called and was told call back in 39 days. Where the hell did they come up with the number 39. She told me they are way behind on processing, I looked at other services centers and they are turning them out in a month to three months. Just my luck to get the one way behind.

My petition receipt date is July 25th 2011, as of today no approval yet (5 months now) We were told at embassy when we went to get help with petition forms that the overall process from receipt of petition to interview should be 3 to 6 months but will be more like 3 months. My wife lives 12 hours from Moscow and a round trip train ticket for her and her daughter is $450 together. So we figured if its 3 months it would be best to have her go to Moscow in September and enroll her daughter ...

Merry Christmas everyone. My date of acceptance was July 25th so now tomorrow Dec. 25th will be 5 months still without approval. I guess I watched to many Christmas shows lately I thought for sure I was going to get a great Christmas gift and get approval on Friday but that didn't happen. Now its over 5 months on Monday I can call and ask what is going on. I don't know if I can take this much longer I just want to start my life with my wife and enjoy life finally. Well I vented enough...

Does anyone know if the processing centers close for any amount of days during the holidays. My 5 months will be on the 25th of December so I am figuring I will possibly get approval the week between Christmas and New Years unless they close for some days.
