okay, i've decided... going with sending all the forms off, including ds-2001, at once, today or tomorrow. then once they receive my medical results they should add them, see i'm otherwise all ready, and assign interview date. from what i can tell that follows their guide for steps 2 & 3 on http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html
but to each their own, we will all get their in the end!
