  2. I worry about the same thing ! I also self employed ! I gross over 160,000 a yr but with all the write offs I allowed I can drop my net to any amount I want ! I have interview on 12 th of next month and current 2011 tax states 23,000 income ! Do you all think I be fine at interview ? House hold of 4 I have 50,000 in assets ! Interviewer does look at assets right ? Thanks

  3. How much is to much ? I got 300 some pages of phone calls, 100 pages of bank statements and my wife has our 300 some pages of chat history!

Will they really need so much at interview? And should I highlight all the calls and withdraws ?

Also her interview is for the 12th next month and I booked a ticket to be there and to return with her to USA on the 20th ! Should be enough time to get visa ? And fly ?

Thank you all so much !!!!!

  4. On February 27, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

  5. Your primary vehicle (car) will not be considered. If you have a second car then it could be used as an asset.

If you are an owner/operator they are not likely to accept your rig. Reason being that if you were required to liquidate the asset you would face considerable hardship as it is your method of earning a living.

For a self employed person the income number used is line 22 of your most recent tax return. No recalculation is done.

Thanks for the info, but i hope i be fine! i make way over the poverty line! its just hard to show on net income because we allowed to write off so much in this line of work!

so i better send a letter explaining the depreciation of equipment and how its by IRS law to recount this as income! i was worried they might not know about this :(

  6. Hi there,

Today I went by my lawyer's office and found out that they filed for a I-130 as well.

I really don't understand what it's for, and what the difference is between a I-485 by itself and a I-485 with I-130

It may be clear to others but I try to understand the whole process,

    Thank you in advance!

don't trust a lawyer!! i just found out my lawyer filed for CR1!! paid for K3 :( only filed i130 and not the i129. so i on the CR1 time frame :(
