do it at your own risk.
If you want to be 100% sure go and see USCIS , get advanced parole

Be prepared for some pretty tough questions. By your timeline it looks as though you got engaged pretty quickly after meeting.
Be honest and give him only the facts.
-
Yeah... dont declare it, lie...
Come on guy ! Dont post such obsurd questions. The process is about being honest and transparent.

Personally if that happened to me I would be rather worried and urgently consult an Immigration Attorny and ask the lawyer to attend the meeting with you.
I have heard cases where immigration have called and asked the immigrant to attend a "meeting'. Only to be welcomed by ICE.
Immigration Attorny is the way forward. Make sure you know your rights before attending.

K1 or K3 Visa Holders have to line up with all the tourists. Then, in my case (JFK), I was pulled into a secondary inspection line (waited 45 mins) and asked a few questions, had my passport stamped and then being told to hit the road....

My advice
Do not lie to the Immigration Officer. Telling them you are visting friends and them finding out you are actually visiting your fiance will create serious implications (immigrant intent etc....).
Be honest, tell them the deal and i'm sure your be fine. Be transparent.

The person at the SS Office is talking rubbish.

From my limited knowledge I have to advise you that your out of luck.
You will be called for an interview if your AOS was processed and if your husband does not show for that interview they will put you in removal proceedings.
It would be a different case if your I-485 had been approved.
-
Highlight them on your phone bill and submit that as proof.
Worth a shot my son.

the interviewer at my AOS asked me what I tought about the past conflicts in Northern Ireland and did I have an alliance !! He also asked me about my family being from South Africa and what I thought about the intergration after aparthied.
I was actually surprised with his wealth of knowledge until I found out he was educated in England.

Questions
How many sides has an isosceles ?
Get it wrong and your in all kinds of trouble ...
-
I lost mine as well, the AOS interviewer didnt care in the least and carried on with the interview.
-
why dont you ring the information line or make and info pass appointment and ask the USCIS ?
Why post and get and answer based on hear say !!!
-
start with bringing your husband, that always helps your case.
You should collect and copy all evidence to prove you are a couple.
1. Bank Statements
2. Medical / Life Insurance policies
3. Rent agreements
etc etc.....
AOS interviews are a breeze, for me the K1 interview was alot tougher.

this topic has been discussed many times. Dont listen to anyone on this board as its pure speculation.
Go and talk to the USCIS at your local field office.
-
yeah tell him you cheat on him, tell him you dont love him, tell him your banging someother dude.
That will go down awesome.... He will love that..
-
get the f*** out of here and stop posting rubbish.
You ask random people on a website for help !!! Sure what's your address i'll send you a blank cheque...
-
I'm guessing the London Embassy have to have both forms complete before approving.
Sorry to hear about your problems, I overstayed a while back and it is certainly a rough road to try and get back into the US.
-
I find it hard to believe that a USCIS Agent would tell you to go ahead and Lie on your application...
-
trust me you wont need a waiver.
DD isn't a CMT
-
Still delays the whole process. What happens if USCIS don't recieve your reply ? This is both frequent and causes your case to be rejected.
RFE's are a pain.
-
why are you glad you recieved an RFE ?
-
Myrtle Beach !!!! Not sure if that would be on top of my list !!!
Can I travel?
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
