Hi,
We have been watching events for several days now. We are concerned as well. The situation can change rapidly so it is difficult to plan for next Wednesday. We'll get to the embassy unless things turn for the worse.
See you Wednesday....

Hi there,
My name is William and I am the petitioner. We scheduled our medical on September 6th. We are in a small town 3 hours from Surabaya. So September 6th we are making a drive-fly-taxi-medical-taxi-fly-drive trip to Jakarta. They said they can mail us the medical report. Will both of you be at the embassy for the interview?

Good luck,
Hopefully things will be 'smooth sailing' for you.
It has been very stressful waiting and waiting. Our lives are in their hands of a government agency and gives us an uneasy feeling.

We can personally say these steps do work because it is exactly what we did.
One more thing, make sure your paperwork is ready in advance. So when you are allowed to send the docs to NVC you are ready.
We are waiting for our interview date now. Talked with NVC today but they have not assigned a date yet.

3. Once 'choice of agent' is accepted you can pay your IV fee.
4. After all fees are posted as 'paid' you can send in your documents to NVC.
About a week after we mailed off our docs to NVC, we received the choice of agent form and our NVC case number. Seems if you wait for NVC to do things, you will wait much longer. Just learned today our case is closed at NVC....

Hi there,
I read here at Visajourney about what can and cannot be speeded up.
1. I watched the USCIS web site until it said forwarded to NVC
2. After a few weeks I called NVC until I got our case number. As soon as you get your case number you can log into the NVC payment portal and pay the AOS fee. At the same time, email off you 'choice of agent' form.
