not necessarily.. another fellow vjer who filed AOS in November, never received her bio appointment, to find out later she missed it (unknowingly!) so got Infopass appt where they got her biometrics done (this in mid january) and a wk later her EAD/AP was approved! If you don't hear from them, def call and put a service request, again if nothing comes in 15days after that, then don't waste time in calling, book an infopass and explain the situation. Don't worry tho, usuall...

I hear you, I got my NOA1 for AOS on jan 10 and still can't see my case online. I did receive tho the biometrics appointment, a wk after the NOA1. If I were you I wouldn't worry too much about the online system, but if you do not receive a letter with biometrics within 30 days from your NOA1 then call USCIS and ask for a tier 2, alternatively book an Infopass at your local office.

thank you for your info - in italy is a bit more pricey but cheaper than the english one, altho it looks more "professional", my italian one is a photocopy - stamped and signed and all in original - but compared to the UK one looks pretty "cheap"!! I'm gonna see if the italian consulate in Edinburgh will do the translation for me, fingers crossed they do and its cheap. i still haven't got the noa2 yet but gathering some stuff already. It can't come soon eno...

Hi Emma! I will be going thro the london embassy and had to get the italian police certificate since I've lived in my home country till I was 26. Are u getting a certified translation or you translating it yourself? thx and wish you a speedy process from now on!!
