My case was even worse than yours.
My husband married me ( religious ceremony) before his divorce was finalised. we had to apply for K1 visa as our marriage was not valid in Usa. we had to explain everything during the interview and thanks God they still granted us the visa.

Hi all,
I am happy to inform u all that my K1 visa was approved today. my advise to you all is not to be discouraged by the negative responces that you might get from the members. i was informed by many that my chances of getting approved is nil and some even wished that i get denied. Alhamdullilah by the grace of Allah i was granted the visa without any problem.
