Your and your fiance are at the beginning stage of your filing. The first stage only involves your fiance. He will receive NOA1 notice. The NOA1 is just a notification that USCIS has received your petition and cash the check or money order. Now comes the wait... Your fiance will receive NOA2 notification letter of approval in 5 - 6.5 months.
After the NOA2 your fiance will wait for the petition to be forwarded to NVC for review and MNL #. The MNL # is for you...
