  1. dec 6 i received an email from usem that my visa has been issued last dec 5 (exact 3 weeks from passing the additional documents). dec 7 i attended the cfo seminar. dec 8 attended the cfo seminar and at the same time 2 go called and ask for my address (for landmarks) then momma received the visa and the packet..what an amazing christmas gift!

  2. hello guys, i checked my nbi clearance..its a clearance for travel abroad. what do you mean by aka nbi clearance? do i need to request again in nbi, with that kind of clearance of nbi? im kinda confuse.. thank you so much

hi private. in my case i need to secure my nbi with aka because my birth certificate was misspelled and it was corrcted months ago.. so they wanna know if there's a case with that name which i never used.

  3. Hi sweetnovember, I have tried to call 301-2000 but i am only getting answering machine, what email address did you email? i only tried ivmanilareplies@state.gov but i'm not getting any replies.

the very first time i called i got a man picked that line and told me that it's in the CO's desk for review.now i've been trying to call back but it'll become busy whenever it goes with the ext 5184..i am frustrated too but i think they are too busy

  4. That's counting everything-- except if you are put in administrative processing/review. If your case has to undergo administrative processing/review, then all bets are off because it could take weeks or months to receive a visa. Heaven forbid that to happen.

Chinook received her visa in Bacolod six calendar days after she submitted some documents to replace ones which the Embassy mysteriously "lost." We counted ourselves fortunate that we had to wait only six days.

Good luck with the torture of waiting! :clock::girlwerewolf2xn:

    It's worth the wait! :luv:

Hi Tahoma..Did the embassy email you that they'd lost part of your docs?

  5. You have nothing to worry about...the Embassy is doing their usual paperwork shuffle. They are dotting all of the i's and crossing all of the t's on your paperwork. It will take them some time but, in the end, you'll get your visa. You can call them or email them anytime you like. I doubt if it will speed things up...but it might make you feel better. I know...I know...the waiting is hell. Hang in there! Malapit na !!!:star:

whooahh you are amazing. you actually make me feel like i have nothing to worry about..well i guess i need to do that. I hope they'll speed things up. what's that (the i's and t's)?sorry

  6. Hi Tahoma. I have contacted the embassy and there's this guy who told me that it's been in the consul's desk.He asked me if I had passed my NBI with aka already. Told him that that was Nov 14. When can we contact the embassy again?

and I had read in one of the forums that one had this 221g with a cenomar reverification. what is that?would that be the same as mine? my birth certificate was corrected and the consul asked me to get a cenomar with the spelling in the bc which is the uncorrected and the nbi as well with the spelling in that bc as well.

  7. The Embassy is very busy and they are difficult to contact by phone. You just have to be persistent...and you have to have a lot of load too! :o:)

Better yet...have your 'kano call the Embassy.

  8. don't worry sis once you give them what they were asking you will be fine, the waiting is really hurting, you will receive an email anytime soon, sometime you can't really track your package/visa i have lots of friends already experienced that but they are all now in US...

hi sis...so good of you to make these things lighter. the thing is we're planning to get married this christmas, that'sour second option so i hope it wont take that much long though. wont they be bombarded if i call like twice a week?

  9. I know the waiting is hell. :clock:

Hang in there! Your worries will melt away as soon as you have the visa in your hand. :star:

Keep calling the Embassy for an update on your case...until they tell you that your visa has been issued. Then 2GO will text you right before delivery.

Thanks too Tahoma. My goodness it's way hard to check on these things everyday.

How do I pay the 2go on the process? Is t for free still?

  10. after my interview oct 27th,the same day i got my new nbi with aka name at robinsons ermita then the next day i sent it using the 2go form that the usem gave to me,after less than 2 weeks i got my visa packet.

hhi! were you given that white slip for 221g also?

  11. First, you got to wait for USEM confirmation (via email) that they have forwarded your documents to 2Go. After 2-3 days, call 2Go nearest to your place if they have received it or not. Do you remember the tel# i gave you earlier (in your previous post), that was the 2Go main office then ask for tracking #.

It could be a grueling wait but it will come...

tHANk you BobGee...Yeah there is this unexplanable pain in wating. so I need not to call them then? I wish I could call them on the 28th since that's like after the thanksgiving..
