Hi Kelsey! Ok one more quick question (sorry I know this was awhile ago for you) Was the DS-156K the only DS document that you waited to sign in front on the Embassy officials at the interview? Or did you wait to sign anything else?

Yes thank you! This just goes on the list of many things on their instruction letter that you supposedly NEED but really don't (i.e. sending in the documents before the interview, paying the visa before the interview, etc.) Sigh...

Hi Kelsey! Was wondering if you and Carlos happened to save the English translation of the Military Status document for the interview? I'm sure I could figure it out but if you have the format that was already approved it would take some of the pressure off

Thanks for your help! I think I annoyed the person on the Santiago Visa email but it just sounds weird that they said you could pay on the interview day! We'll just pay through a Banco Chile cash deposit to be safe. The other question my fiance had was the medical form that he go with his packet 4. Does he fill ANY of that out or is it 100% the doctor?

Hello! I had a question for you regarding the visa fee in Santiago? I was recently told by the embassy that my fiance can pay his visa on the actual day of the interview. However, I had never heard of this before, I was wondering how your fiance paid their fee and if he saw people paying their actual visa that day?

Hola Patty espero que estes bien y contenta con tu esposo. Quizas sabes que ya nos aprobaron la NOA2 asi que estamos juntando todos los papeles del proximo paso. Te tenia una pregunta sobre el certificado de nacimiento y los antecedentes. Creo que tenias el formato de los certificados en ingles? No te podia mandar un mensaje pero queria darte el correo de mi novio pa reenviar si tienes.

Gracias por el info! Si podemos iremos a ver a la Dra. Grossman pero veemos que nos dan la NOA2 primero. Estamos a casi 4 meses esperandolo asi que espero que llegue pronto. Gracias Patty! Aprecio la oferta. Algo que queria preguntar era la importancia de mi asistencia en la entrevista en la embajada de mi prometido. Yo trabajo full time y me cuesta irme a Chile si no estoy en vacaciones pero si ayuda mucho estar alli quizas puedo arrancar unos 3 o 4 dias.
