  1. Hi there

I plan to bring my elderly parents to visit me in the US. I am planning to buy a one way ticket for them, no return tickets, as i am not sure how long they will be visiting me (2-3 month). Can this cause an issue at the entry point in the US in Toronto, Canada such as they may be denied  an entry in the US?

    Thanks much

    G.

  2. received an e-mail today - "On December 28, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you..."

Whoa-oa-oa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now

I feel good, I knew that I would, now

    So good, so good...

  3. I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I was wondering if someone can tell me where & how I should attach my check. I'm afraid to make a mistake. I don't know where to put it & I'm afraid to staple it onto the petition (I-751). Please help! I want to mail off my packet tomorrow. Thanks in advance for your help! God bless! :)

i stapled it to a friggin petition and sent it by fedex...

  4. Anybody have any thoughts on whether there is/will be a general "slow down" in processing during the rest of November and through New Years? I know that most businesses suffer from decreased productivity during the Thanksgiving to New Years time frame due to the actual holiday days off AND as it is quite often the time that workers take vacations (e.g. this week (Thanksgiving week) and week of Christmas, New Years week, etc). On top of all this, it is just generally a period of lower motivation/urgency for when people actually ARE working.

My feeling is, we will see very little movement (like 50% of what what we would see during a "normal" time) on processing for the next 5 to 6 weeks.

    Thoughts?

i'll try to explain... here is the deal... its government hon... overwhelming "take-er-time", "who-cares" attitude... job security.... "nobody-is-going-to-fire-you-anyways" attitude... and typically they work hard... i mean hardly... i mean hard... anyhow... so... now take a wild guess what will be the work pace during a holiday season...
