When they scheduled my interview, on the confirmation e-mail that they sent to us, their requirement list was;

Passport

- Photos

- Medical report

- 1040 Individual Income Tax returns and W2 forms for 2011 from the petitioner

- Proof of relationship between you and your fiancé.

- $240 TEB receipt

So just for the last year's tax returns and W2 forms for 2011not for 3 years and no other additional forms (that we sent for the package 3).

I'd appreciate if somebody who recently had his/her K1 visa interview could inform us about the list.

Situation: I am a US Citizen, I met my Turkish Fiancee in Italy while I was serving there in the U.S. Military and she was studying. We need to get a police report from Turkey Italy since she lived there for over a year, before her Interview in Turkey with the US Consulate.

Does anybody have a clue how we are suppose to go about this? I have called the Italian Embassy in Washington DC and was basically told to piss off. She has gone to the Italian Embassy in Ankara in person multiple times and they just give her the run around. Any suggestions on how to move forward?

I called USCIS yesterday. We also filed our paperwork on January 12th (NOA1 January 17th). They told me that the vermont service center is currently processing applications from January 1st (This was yesterday) and that we should hear from them in the next few days. It's just a waiting game....

I newly discovered this website so I did not have enough time to read all the questions about K-1 Fiance(e) visa. Before,my fiance and I decided to apply for spouse visa because we were planning to get married in my country, in Turkey. But after looking through the timelines, we did not want to risk it. So not to wait too much, we decided to apply for K-1 Fiance(e) visa. If everything goes well, I have chance to get my visa in 6-7 months maybe less. My questions are;

- Once you get your visa after your appointment, since you guarantee to get married in 90 days, can we get married in my country in Turkey? since we are planning to have our wedding at the begining of summer in my country or only you can get married in USA?

-If you can only get married in USA, then how many months I cant go back to my country? Is it obligated not to go out of USA for couple months even under urgent/important circumtances?

I appreciate a lot your prompt replies.
