Hi Rajugc..Congratulation,,,...Did you get a ITIN number for your wife and Add her to your taxes or you just file marriage filing separetly?

No, I field my all tax as a single because of I don't have itin number.

My wife interview went very Well. She just asked for tax and police document. At the time of interview just asked couple questions like name, how I can to states and how long been married.

At the end he approved our visa and now online status said visa issued. And has been printed.

Hello everybody

I had my interview yesterday. It was very cold and snowy and we had to drive 2.5 hours, but at least my appointment was at 1 pm We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled interview and were waiting for about half an hour until my name was called. First I had to swear to tell the truth. Then the officer asked for my green card and my passport. After that she was going through all the information in my application to double check if it's still ok. She took my passport to check the dates of the trips outside the US. Then she just asked all the questions yes and no...

Later she told me to read 'who can vote?' and write down 'citizens can vote'.

Then she just started asking the civics questions.

1. Who makes federal laws?

2. Why did the colonists fight the British?

3. What is the highest court in US?

4. What is the name of the vice president?

5. How many amendments does the constitution have?

6. What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?

I answered correctly all of them. But she didn't say a word, just left the room for couple minutes and came back with the letter for my oath (which is gonna be March 14th).

All in all the person I got was not really nice, but I passed, so it's all good. I would expect somebody like that to explain everything, say what's gonna happen next, etc.

Well...3 more weeks and I'm done

Just bring the most recent (2011-2012) ITR and W2 of your petitioner and joint sponsor (if applicable).

We already sent our AoS to the NVC that was 2 years ago. At the time of Interview do we need to fill out new aoS or not?

Hi friends , my pd 14th November 2010 n interview date 14 march 2013. I want some help from u guys ... Does anyone have idea how long it takes for embassy to return the passport after interview.? Is it true that v can get it on the same day in the evening . Or the next day.. Plz help.

I got my friend he became a us citizen end of last month.he applied visa for her wife but he became a citizen after f2a visa interview scheduled. We still need to upgrade or not? What is the process?

There is no record that any one got interview letter. Sometimes they do send out interview letter after publishing VB or end of the week. Lets see

Good news for me. Oath ceremony is finally scheduled . Waiting for the letter .

What's going on?

I wrote email inquiry about 2 weeks ago. Today I got reply from NVC saying that case is completed and waiting for visa number available.

PD 19NOV2010......making me crazy..

Did any body call NVC yet?

Hope this week we gonna have some good news.

Maybe the dates have regressed? That would explain why no interview letters have been sent yet!
