What is your full new name? Is it "first name/new married name" only? If you don't want to use your maiden name anymore, what you did is right.
You need to put in the AOS form the name that you want to use now. Be sure of what full name you want to use because it will be pricey to change it then on your green card.
Also, it doesn't matter if it doesn't match with what's on your SS card for now.
im using my first name with my husbands surname. thanks for the reply and info. god bless

Hello VJ friends, I was interviewed last March 14, 2012. I wonder what does it mean when the lady at window 71 gave back to you your appoinment letter with that stamp? Is it approve?
I just want to clarify if what Ive heard from the CO was right that I'm approved.

Hi there! from what i know G-325a is only when you file your I129-f petition,The DS-230,DS-156 and 156k,DS-157
is the form you need to fill up for K1 interview...and you as a Petitioner you need to fill up the I-134 Affidavit of Support and get all the thing's you'll need for that like,W2,ITR,Pay Stub,Bank Statement,Letter from employer... i hope this helps... Goodluck! and God bless us all in our journey...

f. NBI CLEARANCE. Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance for Travel Abroad Purposes from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is valid for one (1) year from the date it was issued. The NBI website is http://www.nbi.gov.ph.
ahh ok, will strictly follow what the USEM instructions. I should have not listened to the lady at NBI helpdesk. Thanks for the info, got confused.
-
There's Only 2 choices to choose from on their online application, it's either travel abroad or US visa.
-
NBI has a new system called e-clearance, its an online application and only few may know this.
-
Goodluck on your interview!
-
Purpose: Travel abroad or US visa? The lady on the eclarance helpdesk told me to click US visa for the purpose since I I told her I'm going to use it on my Fiancé visa. I got my NBI clearance already. Do I need to request for another one? Pls help! Thanks in advance.

Sorry Wife mixed it up
I do not remember if we set the embassy appointment first or not But I do think we did call & get it scheduled.
Personally what I would do is take and call or schedule online to get the interview date set.
Then once you have that print it out and take to the st lukes medical so you can get a full medical done.
you will need to pay for it there.
Depending on situation will determine if you need to return.
Also make sure you are not on your period as they will make you come back after your period is finished. (For the ladies)
I apologize for wife making it more confusing I just woke up and explained it again to her what she said wrong.
its ok, dessndave thank you so much for helping me with this, very much appreciated. God Bless you both.
AOS Approved! :)
