We had a little issue due to the DHL labels expiring after 90 days so the lab had to resend. From collection to results it took exactly 4 weeks. Without that issue and the holidays, it would probably take half the time. Currently waiting on the call to hopefully come pickup passport with issued visa 

We received notice on December 1 that the DNA collection appointment would be in December 8. The kit was sent to the embassy in Early September right after the interview. The DNA results just came thru and were sent to the embassy via email. We will start calling and emailing the embassy next week. Good luck

We got appreoved this morning after about 10 minutes in the officer's office.I posted a review of the experience on our timeline page. Good luck to everyone out there who is still waiting. If you have any specific please feel free to ask and I will respond to the best of my knowledge based on my experience.

Hi all,

I am an F1 on OPT who got married to a US citizen this spring and filed for AOS on 11/1/2011 (I had my biometric appointment on 11/28).I am employed under my OPT but my work permit expires 01/09/12 and I haven't receive another one from my AOS filing.Will I have to stop working if I don't receive my EAD?Should I notify my employer or just let it slide? I would really appreciate any advice.Thanks
