Hey! I don't know how often you look at this...but I found out that he doesn't have any family near/in Teguc. So we can't ask for a favor for the police certificate...how long did it take to get yours--like how many days? We can go on Friday but I don't want it to sit there waiting until October if they don't give it to us right away...so I don't know what to do!

FINALLY got our interview date...October 10th! 2 more months of waiting but at least we can start planning things now!

yes! I already had to go like 5 times to get the birth cert. b/c they took forever to do it and then put "sexo feminino" when it is CLEARLY a man's name LOL. We still have to get the police cert. but he doesn't get any days off of work so we might have to wait until closer to the interview and he will just quit his job and we can go down then...!

Good to know! I was wondering if we could do that...he doesn't have any relatives there but I can get a day off of work and could go down without him (I work online and live here, too haha).....or Kate's fiance actually does have an uncle there so maybe he can get both of them....we will see what we can do! Thanks!!

pues si...parece q las cosas son complicadas en la embajada...llamare manana para ver exactamente q tengo q hacer!! vivo aqui en la misma ciudad q mi amorcito pero no vivimos juntos entonces no pasamos mucho tiempo juntos por el trabajo y todo...pues me hace dificil estar aqui porque yo tambien estoy esperando los papeles para mudarme y cambiar mi vida! jaja los dos estamos esperan...

ayyy siiii pero bueno siempre cuesta mucho tiempo...ahora tengo el numero del caso pero aun no puedo hacer nada...necesito una carta para poder hacer la cita dicen cuando llamo. uff. pues vivimos cerca entonces! y hay otra pareja en SPS q tiene casi la misma fecha q nosotros! la muchacha tambien es de USA y vive aqui...!

Siiiii ya me dieron el numero de aqui y tambien a kateandjavi.....me dijeron una vez cuando llame al NVC q se puede enviarles una copia de su NOA2 y se pueden buscar sus papeles...no se exactamente como es pero podria llamar a preguntar q se puede hacer pq si ha pasado bastante tiempo...yo soy de USA pero mi amor es de aqui y he vivido aqui hace 2.5 anyos!

Hahaha yes, the commercials are great!!! Everyone knows exactly what I am talking about when I tell them my job! And yes, I speak Spanish...so no problems there. My fiance is not at ALL bilingual, so thankfully, I am fluent. I don't think I ever would have come here w/o speaking Spanish, though! haha. Any word on the request for expedited papers?!
