  1. I arrived after midnight January 30th and was stamped January 29...so I think it just depends on if the immigration officer has changed the date on his/her stamp yet...I really wouldnt worry about it...can easily just extend the visa.

  2. I was all set to book on Hawaiin Airlines until I found out you have to pay $15 for the in seat entertainment and even rent the head phones. I was told you need to pay for it with a credit card which my fiance doesnt have. I figured that it would be boring without it so I booked with ANA Air.

    Good to know, thanks!

  3. Try not to stress so much, you will only make yourself crazy. The timelines are not affiliated with USCIS in any way nor should they be taken as any kind of official expected date. When I first entered my information back in March, my timeline showed expected NOA 2 in early July....then VSC slowed to a crawl and watched my timeline move further and further...Try not to worry yourself too much and consider yourself blessed if you get NOA 2 before the end of January.

  4. A duplicate NOA2 could just be a fluke. The "consulate listed" I took to mean the consulate listed on my petition. There was no specific consulate listed on my NOA2 either. I wouldn't worry about it getting lost because of that. NVC received my case a week after my NOA2 letter was received. The case number they assign you will begin with 3 letters representing a sort of abbreviation for the consulate. For example, mine goes to Manila, Philippines. My case number begins with MNL so that along with confirming the consulate with the NVC representative should ease your worries. Once it has been forwarded, give it a couple days, and the electronic file should already be at the embassy. You can verify this by emailing the embassy. They responded to my email rather quickly. As far as calling NVC goes, that wait is normal. Some say call early morning or late at night(open 'til midnight). I called twice in the early evening. Both times took about 20 minutes to get through. Just put it on speaker phone and do other things if you have to.

Ditto...no consulate listed on the noa2 here either but just like ToddnJessa said "I took to mean the consulate listed on my petition"

  5. hi everyone !!!! how are u??.. im confused about the nvc case number.... how send they?? they dont send this number yet... im worried... where i can communcaite or call?

NVC phone # 603-334-0700, be prepared to wait on hold each time you call (sometimes as long as 30 minutes). Many suggest waiting 2 weeks after NOA2 to start calling NVC...I would suggest to begin calling them about 4 or 5 days after NOA2, thats what I did and had my case number on day 6. Good luck.
