  1. Hi there! They dont make background check.Just bring all the necessary docs, like birth cert, bank statement but still no guaranty it will be approve. swertihan lang talaga ang tourist visa sis... Goodluck and hopefully she'll got it.

  2. Hi there! before the Consul will proceed with the questions, you will be asks if u can speak english...if not, someone will speak to you in tagalog....but i noticed, filipinos are more strict with the questions....coz i have heard 2 applicants when i had my interviewed before (while waiting for my turn)..anyway, for sure u can do it ....... as long as u will answer it all right. goodluck :)

  3. Hi there! That would be fine travelling alone...My nephew (17) and niece (15) will be travelling alone this march. They have direct flight from Manila-Detroit (they have stop over in Japan but they I guess they dont need to get out of the plane though) I think the plane will just refuel and then from Detroit they still have connecting flight going here in our state. Anyway, if ever you will do that, just inform the airline . Also a letter of consent signed by both parents is needed; a letter something for DSWD near your place, copy of id's of whoever will pick them up in the airport; give them your complete address and phone number....

  4. Hi there! You can call USEm number and verify it. Coz i didnt received any noticed before that I already have my Manila case # and its already been more than a month then. If ever you already verified it, you can already pay your visa fee and schedule for a medical. Goodluck :)

  5. Hi there! What particular name of the forwarder from the Philippines delivered your boxes? Because I used to work in a forwarding company before i went here, we have boxes from Canada and US... Ive heard some complains also from our consignees regarding Forex service....But its also true that forwarders have some problems releasing the containers from customs, prior to that getting a trucker to load such containers especially during pick seasons...but then, its not the shipper's fault though...regarding nasty conversations with forwarders staff, its how the shipper/consignees talked with them too...but if u think u need to complain them, u can complain it to your agent here in US first...I know they are responsible also with their agents/forwarders behaviors in Manila....Well, best way find another agent and not use Forex anymore...Goodluck guys! :)

  6. That would be fine , if you have the MNL case# you can already pay the visa fee and book an interview schedule. Then print the confirmation letter ( interview sched) from USEm that she needs to bring at St Lukes for the medical. Goodluck and congrats also! :)

  7. Hi there! USEm dont accept photocopies or even scan copies of any required documents...I've tried to asked them that before when they put me under 221g... If I were you, tell your fiancee to send you the right I-134 thru UPS.....it would only take 3-5 days. But if you aint got it before your interview, then u just have to be honest with the CO but atleast if ever they will put u under 221g, u already have the one he sent.. and then u can send it ASAP. Goodluck! :)

  8. Hi Guys! Reading all the replied here makes me feel more confused of the USem procedures...... tsk..tsk....some they kept the passport and others they gave it back just like mine.....And how come it take so long like months of reviewing it....isn't so unfair that the visa application was already paid and i guess the applicants has the right to know as soon as possible if it is really approve or not and not giving any false hope :( Well. let us just all be positive and hope for the best.....May God bless US all....

  9. This was what NVC replied to my email inquiry just now:

"Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC recently received this petition. The appropriate agent

(applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will receive instructions for the

further processing of this petition within 6 to 8 weeks."

So they already received the petition. Why didn't they give me our MNL case number yet? From this email, how soon can we make another follow-up email?

Tell your fiance to call the US embassy (tel. # 301-2000)..... thats where i got my MNL case number before....i didn't received any emails or mails that my case was already here. I wouldnt knew that it's been here almost 1 and half months already..... Goodluck!
