  1. I think I saw the appointment online first and got the letter end of March, took them over 2 weeks to reschedule. I did send a case inquiry aeound the same time. I dont know if that moved them to reschedule.. its bery frustrating Waiting and not knowing whats going on with the case. Bust most likely they will reschedule.

I apologize for my mistakes.. writing from my phone.

Thank you for the reply, ya it's really frustrating not to know whats going on, i think i just have to wait :(

    Good luck on the interview

  2. Hi noona,

Oh, immigration... Always surprising us. I have no idea what that means. Let me just make sure:

Do you have the interview notice by mail?

If yes, then don't even bother or worry about what says on your case. You have your notice, gather ALL documents, get ready for the interview and go.

Yes i received the notice in the mail 10 days ago, so confusing !!

Thanks for the repky and congrats on the approval

  5. Hi Noona,

WOW! That's awful. I believe one of the members from November has already had their intervirew in February, bellylaugh is their name. Not sure where they are from. Here in December there are a few interview notices already received.

But I can tell you about me, I applied December 8th, 2014, received my interview notice March 2nd, 2015.

My interview is April 14th, 2015.

Good luck! Hang in there. Any RFEs?

Oh good luck in your upcoming interview, no RFE, EAD received January/30 and (ready to be scheduled for interview ) since December/22 :( :(

    Thanks for the reply

  6. Finally I got interview notification. Our AOS interview is on April 13 :)

I received two text messages from uscis...one as early as 6:31am and the second one at 7:00am. When i check my case status it said interview as scheduled for april 20th.

Hello to all October filers! :-)

I haven't written so far, but today I got some really good news and I really do want to share it with you, because I know how hard is the whole process especially when you do not know how long you should wait.

I am adjusting my status from B1. We filed our documents in mid October in Chicago, IL and our firs receipt is from 17 October. Exactly 3 months later I received my EAD.

Last month I called the USCIS to get some more information on how things are going and should we expect to hear something from them soon. The guy I spoke to told me that our office (Chicago) is currently processing documents from April 2014 and I felt devastated. Anyway I got over the fact that I should way at least 6 more months.

You can imagine my surprise when today I received an email that we are scheduled for an interview in mid April!!!!

  7. Am in ( ready to be scheduled for interview ) since december/22 and chicago office looks so slow, october filers still didn't get interview notices :(

I have a question, we might be moving to Michigan next month so how will this affect my application ? Does moving to another state make it worse and slower ? Detroit office seems a bit faster than chicago but does transferring my application will make it longer ?

I was thinking to stay in chicago with my 2 year old son till i get the interview notice then we can join my husband but it doesn't look i'll be getting a notice in the coming month or 2 :(

    any advice please

  8. Just got this. So excited!
