Thanks to everyone here for sharing your experiences. It really helped me out a lot. Looks like California has a massive backlog that some petitions they're uploading prior biometrics so you don't have to go to ASC. The key is to get on the line with a Tier 2 service agent. Be demanding like what others have said or just make up a story and tell them you were on with a Tier 2 agent and your connection was lost or your cell battery died so to please reconnect you and transfer the call and they'll do it. Both times that we tried the lady agent was nice. The other day a man answered and he was rude, stating that we can't transfer the call due to loaded calls for to leave your name/number and someone will call back in 3-5 days. The first call my wife was on hold over an hour and hung up to eat lunch. In the afternoon I called and was on hold for 3 hours. I put my speaker phone on while I rested and played Candy Crush.

About an hour ago after nearly 3 hours on hold, I got the my case number. When I called I told them I was on hold with a Tier 2 and my cell phone battery died so if you could please reconnect me and the agent said no problem but I waited so long. I told them I got the email saying that I don't need to report to ASC because they uploaded my wife's prior biometrics. She just told me from now you just wait up to 6 months from date filed. As long you got the NOA1 stating you've been extended one year, take your Green Card and this updated NOA1 notice when travelling.

Hi guys. I filed for I-751 April 23. As of today haven't received any biometric date. Last week I emailed a service request and 3 days ago called USCIS. They said they'd put a service request and wait 30 days. If no response then to call them back. Today I received this through email. So I guess I just wait now or is there a way I can get a case number to check the status of my wife's green card?
The status of this service request is:
The required biometrics for your Permanent Resident Card have been successfully uploaded from a previously filed petition/application. Therefore, an appointment at the ASC is not necessary.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know what month petitions the CSC is working on right now?? If that sentence makes any sense haha. A couple months ago I know they were only on May petitions. Thanks in advance!
As of November 16th they were on late June. I got my NOA2. I filed June 28th.

Anyone else having trouble loggin onto uscis.gov today?
I've only tried twice, but all other pages on my computer/service are coming up as usual...
It must be jammed/OVERLOADED with NEW APPROVALS!

Yes, something's wrong. I'm having trouble logging on too.

Got my NOA1 ON August 15, 2011 and now await the NOA2. 2 Months 3 weeks 5 days and counting. I saw from reading the forums that if you filed in the summer like July then you could get an NOA2 in like a month. I guess the holiday times are gonna be slow. Gonna be a long winter I guess.
I filed my NOA1 June 28, 2011 and almost 5 months, still awaiting NOA2. USCIS site says 5 months. I'll wait 5 months then I'm calling them.

I-751 April 2014 Filers
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

Sorry to the moderator. I posted on the wrong wall. Finally, got our I-751 approved after 4 months. For a while I was getting worried because the May/June California filers are up to 80-90% approval. Also another filer in April that sent theirs the same time as us got approved over a month ago. We just got the approval today. Now we await the production of the green card. I Updated my timeline. Good luck to the other April filers who's waiting for approval.
On August 18, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
