The consular officer mentioned that everything is in order except that she can't find a security check. I went back to Window 38 and the lady said the cause for the delay was me. So it sound like they misplaced my security check that was sent to them by the NVC with the packet. I am beyond pissed!!!

that sucks.... I hope you'll get it soon, they didn't return her passport right? Hopefully they'll be done with the AP in no time.. and you'll get the visa asap..
