  1. YAY!! we finally got my wife's visa and we were planning on crossing the border through cd Juarez - El Paso,Tx. can anyone tell me if she needs to cross on foot? can we just cross on my car?

I was told she needed to cross on foot because she needed to get the visa stamped and she needed to turn in the closed packet.. but through CD Juarez, I don't see how she can walk across the bridge.. is there a way?

    FELICIDADES!!!!!

REDACTA TU EXPERIENCIA!! YO TENGO MI CITA MAÑANA!

TE LLEGO LA VISA AL SIGUIENTE DIA DE LA ENTREVISTA????

    CON RESPECTO AL CRUZE,

QUE YO SEPA PUEDES CRUZAR EN CARRO Y LES ENSEÑAS EL PASAPORTE VISADO DE TU ESPOSA

Y DE AHI TE MANDAN A SECUNDARIA Y LE PIDEN A TU ESPOSA QUE SE BAJE PARA SELLAR

SU PASAPORTE Y EL SOBRE QUE LE DIERON Y QUE FIRME UNAS HOJAS DE QUE ENTRO A U.S.A.

    ETC..

    SOLO DURAN COMO 15 A 20 MINS

ALGUNOS OFICIALES CHECAN EL CARRO Y LAS COSAS QUE LLEVAS, PERO ESO ES TODO.

    BUENA SUERTE!!!!!

    Y ESPERO TU RESPUESTA!

  2. FINALLY APPROVVED!!!YAY!! :D:dance:

I was told to check usvisa-info.com for the DHL air waybill however, all I get is a receipt number (10 digit number) are these the same thing?

receipt of paymet= air waybill #???

    ..

I'm waiting in CD Juarez for my wife's visa...

    FELICIADES!!!!! EN HORA BUENA!!!

MIRA CREO K LAS VISAS SI ESTAN LLEGANDO DE UN DIA PARA OTRO.

SI EN LA PAGINA DEL CSC DICE TU FECHA DE NACIMIENTO Y ABAJITO DEICE: NORMALMENTE DICE: ''USTED NO TIENE UN NUEMERO DE TRASTEO DE DHL O UN AIR WAY BILL EN ESTE MOMENTO''. PERO SI YA TE APERECIO, ES MEJOR QUE LLAMES A DHL PARA CONFIRMAR.

    SI DICE:

''AIR WAY BILL'' Y LUEGO UN NUMERO LARGO, ESO QUIERE DECIR QUE TIU VISA ESTA EN TRANSITO.

ABAJITO DE ESE NUMERO VIENE UN LINK DE DHL, NO ME ACUERDO MUY BIEN, PERO LE DAS CLIK Y AHI VIENE TODO DETALLADO DONDE ESTA O

SI YA LLEGO TU VISA A DHL QUE ESCOJISTE.

    Y DE NUEVO FELICIDADES!!

  3. Congratulations!!! Thats awesome!! What DHL did you choose??

And also did you guys need the petitioner's original birth certificate, or just a copy??

    CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! REDACTA TU EXPERIENCIA!!!!!!!!!

CUANTO TE SALIERON LOS EXAMENES????? CUANTAS VACUNAS ESTAN PONIENDO????

DE ECHO YO ACABO DE HACER LA MISMA PREGUNTA Y DECIDI LLAMAR AL CONSULADO Y ME DIJIERON QUE SI ES NECESARIA

Y EN LA FORMA LARGA Y QUE LOS ORIGINALES QUE LLEVES SE QUEDARAN AHI EN EL CONSULADO.

Y ES COPIA Y ORIGINAL DE CADA DOCUMENTO, ASI ME DIJO LA SEÑORA QUE ME ATENDIO.

    SUERTE!

  5. HOLA BUENOS DIAS FORISTAS!!!!

    LES TENGO UNA PREGUNTA

TENGO QUE LLEVAR EL ACTA DE NACIMIENTO DE MI MARIDO ALA ENTREVISTA?

LA CITA QUE EL NVC ME ENVIO POR EMAIL DICE QUE NO LA NECESITO, PERO CUANDO UNO

SE SUBE ALA PAGINA DEL CONSULADO DE JUAREZ DICE QUE SI SE NECESITA Y EN LA FORMA LARGA!

    http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/packet4may.pdf

    ALGUIEN ME PUEDE EXPLICAR???

EL ES CIUDADANO NATURALIZADO, EN SERIO LAS NECESITO EL DIA DE LA ENTREVISTA???

YA QUE TENGO 2 ACTAS DE NACIMIENTO PERO SON VIEJAS UNA DEL 88 Y OTRA DEL 98 DE MI ESPOSO.

    GRACIAS POR SUS RESPUESTAS!!!!

  6. Since you mention express posting the IV package, I'm assuming you didn't do electronic processing then. Which means that you will not get an email indicating your case is complete. To find out in your situation, you're going to have to call NVC.

You'll also have to call them if you want to know when your case has left for Montreal. But remember, they only send out your case once an interview date has been assigned.

WHEN YOU TRY TO ENTER TO PAGE OF NVC

YOU GONNA FIND THIS MESSAGE ''SIGN AND FAIL''

IT WILL BE APPEARS LIKE THIS...

  7. Did you guys get email from NVC entitle Checklist after submission of I-864 form (AOV)? I got following email from NVC although my friend has also sent I-864 as joint sponsor for our case. I sent filled DS-230 and other supporting documents one day after I-864 sent. I think they just processing the mail up to yesterday and will email me again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow after getting DS-230 and joint sponsor paper.

What I need to do ahead? I didn't understand the email fully. Any Vjers who understood the final part of email can explain me. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

    Here is the email:

  8. Hi there everyone.

Was kind of wondering about the packet my fiance "should" be receiving, do they usually get it, and if so how long does that take in you all's experiences, and is there anything really all that important in there. Oh and to fill out the DS-260, says we need an invoice number but on the letter the NVC sent, it doesnt contain one. Is that somewhere else?

As for the medical, can it ONLY be done in CDJ prior to an interview? at the 2 listed locations? and as for the ASC biometrics, can this be done elsewhere earlier on? like in Guadalajara?

    Appreciative of any responses :)

EL INVOICE # LO PUEDES PEDIR AL NVC LLAMANDOLES Y DANDOLES TU NUMERO DE CASOS.

EL INVIOCE LO NECESITAS PARA PODER ACCEDER A LS DS-260.

LOS EXAMENES SOLO SE PUEDEN HACER EN CD JUAREZ Y CON 2 0 3 DIAS DE ANTES DE TU CITA.

LA CITA PARA CAS DE CD JUAREZ LA TIENES QUE HACER ANTESD E IR A TU CITA, TAMBIEN CON 2 DIAS DE ANTICIPACION.

TODO SE HACE EN CIUDAD JUAREZ NO HAY NINGUN OTRO LUGAR DONDE SE HACEN TODOS ESTOS TRAMITES.

    SUERTE.

  12. Yesterday my husband spoke with a representative of USCIS to expedite our cases

because my husband lost his job and he is the petitioner, and therefore strongly affects us

economically, because I depend on the money that he send.

The representative told him that is a reason to expedite our cases, but we would need

real proof that my husband was laid off for no reason.

    evidence that affects us economically.

    The sentative asked several questions.

Then he said that 5 to 8 days I would be getting a letter with the quote to issue our cases.

not if we will approve the cases, but do not lose anything by trying!

  13. There is no charge. He probably won't get expedite, but he can try. The sponsor losing the job won't qualify him for an expedite. Good luck.

I AM A LITTLE CONFUSE AND THE WEBSITE SAY:

    Expedite Criteria

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. The criteria are as follows:

Severe financial loss to company or individual

    Extreme emergent situation

    Humanitarian situation

Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States

Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)

    USCIS error

    Compelling interest of USCIS

Note: Discretionary expedite requests for petitions and applications that have Premium Processing Service available will not be considered for expedite processing. The only exception is when the petitioner is a not-for-profit organization designated by the Internal Revenue Service. For information regarding premium processing, please refer to the premium processing webpage.

If you have already filed your application or petition:

You can make an expedite request by contacting the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC will take a “service request” and forward your expedite request to the office with jurisdiction over the application or petition. You also have the options of 1). visiting your local office by scheduling an InfoPass appointment or 2). writing a letter to the local office or service center.
