My visa type is CR1.

STATE: New jersey

today i received my welcome letter from USCIS and its says that my card will be delivered within 30 days, is that card like the greencard? permanent residency card?

When we went to Social Security office, they said that i cant get SSN for now because they need my GC or PRC but i some experience online that they got their eventho they dont have the GC and PRC yet.

DCF and files our visa here in MANILA USEM and I-30 got approved, what next step do we have to do? is there any chances that you might fail the medicala nd interview? and on the interview thats the time i have to bring financial documents we have and financial support from his parents? incase we are not qualified for the poverty limit?

Is Manila still accepting DCF's?

Yes, As far as i know manila is accepting DCF filers. because we have USCIS here in USEM. we filed our visa there last december at USEM. ]

Hi Everyone, quick question - I'm the USC, when submitting the I-130 to the Manila US Embassy to petition my filipina wife does she have to accompany me to the embassy or can I do it alone? (we're still in the process of renewing her passport and I'm not sure if they would let her in without a valid passport). Thanks

Good Morning, You can go w/o your wife be sure you have all the requiremnts and 2x2 picture of you and your wife. like the I-30 , the forms for you and for your wife ( the biography something like that ) and the fee.

You don't need to have a us joint account,,,local bank account is good..that's all we pass to the embassy.

It will be an easy processing if you have all the documents they need.

he's been living here for almost 3 years and working here as well as a teacher.

What are the requirements eh needs to pass?
